Julia's P.O.V

"Do you wanna go out for smoothies?" he asked.

"No." I answered truthfully.

"Oh well, you're gonna have to come out. I'm outside your yard." he chuckled.

"What?!"

I abruptly stand up from the comfortable couch and look through the window. He looks at me with a smirk placed on his face and waves at me. Instead of waving back, I close the curtain.

I forgot my manners, again.

___

"Idiot. What is he doing here?" I mumbled under my breath.

"You know I can hear you, right?" he chuckled on the other side of the line.

"Go away, please." I said to him.

"I won't. I drove all the way here for you, so you have to go out with me." he said.

I end the call and walk out of the door towards him.

"Great." he smiled, opening the passenger door for me.

I abruptly close the door and look at him.

"I can open the door myself, and I'm not going out with you." I uttered.

"Then why did you come out?" he asked.

"To place you in your own car so that you can leave." I said whilst trying to push him inside the car. But, it was a massive failure because he was well built.

"Why don't you want to go out?" he asked.

"Because I have better things to do." I rolled my eyes.

"Like?" he asked me with a raised eyebrow.

Watch TV

"Spend time with my stepsister." I lied.

"I thought you hated her." he raised both of his eyebrows.

I should've stuck to the watching TV part.

"I don't hate her, I just don't like her." I retorted.

"There's no difference."

"There is." I retorted again.

"If you say so." he uttered. "So, you're coming with me?" he asked with a smile peeking through the corners of his lips.

"No." I said truthfully.

"Why?" he whined.

"I don't think that's any of your business."

"O-kay. Don't worry, next time, you will agree to go out with me." he smirked, getting inside his Jeep Wrangler.

"We'll see." I said with a sarcastic grin.

"We'll see." he said with a wink and drove away.

Idiot.

The next morning

I take my bags and head outside. I throw them inside my car and get back inside the house.

"I'm leaving." I said to my dad.

"Finally." he uttered, not looking at me.

"Are you not going to ask me where I'm going?"

"No, because I don't care. Just make sure that you don't bother me." he responded.

"I'm going out of town for two weeks. Camp." I said nonetheless.
