Julia's P.O.V

"What are we doing with the campers today?" Aaron asked me.

"I don't know, they haven't announce anything yet." I told him.

"Okay, I'll be right back." he said.

"Please don't leave the premises." I asked nicely.

"What if I do?" he asked with a smirk.

Mxm

"Whatever." I mumbled.

"Chill out. I won't leave. I'm just going to Tamia, she said she wanted to see me." he said.

"I don't need to know where you're going. I was just asking you not to leave the premises, that's it." I said.

"Do you apply make-up?" he asked unexpectedly.

"No, why?" I asked in confusion.

"Your skin looks so smooth. Can I touch it?" he asked.

Aaron complimented me? Aaron Kavinsky, the golden boy complimented me?

"Yeah, sure." I said, not knowing what to say.

He walks towards me and brushes my cheek with the back of his arm. He moves his hand to the back of my neck. He has booze on his lips. His cologne is so strong. He locks his eyes into mine.

I've never been this close to any guy.

I nervously move his hand away from my neck and scratch my head nervously.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah." I said nervously.

"Then why did you remove my hand? What, did I make you feel uncomfortable?" he asked.

"No." I lied. "It's just that... You smell like alcohol." I said.

"Oh." he smiled. "It's not like you don't drink." he continued and I don't answer. "Oh, wait. You don't drink?" he asked.

"Yeah."

"Nerd." he uttered, walking out the door.

"Why did you step back? He would've kissed you." Mika said, walking into the room.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her with a sheepish grin.

"I'm talking about you and him." she said, pointing out in the direction that Aaron went into. "He was going to kiss you." she smiled.

"What do you know about kissing?" I chuckled.

"My sister has a boyfriend, and they kiss all the time." she smiled. "Do you like him?" she asked after a long pause.

"No, no, no." I said truthfully. "I don't like him, and I'll never like him." I said.

"If you say so." she smiled. "But do you have a boyfriend?"

"No." I answered.

"Why?" she asked. "You are beautiful and kind, you should have someone special in your life."

"I'm beautiful?" I asked her.

"Yes." she said with an amiable grin. "You are one of the most beautiful girls I've seen. You are beautiful inside and out." she continued.

Really? Well, I don't think so. On the inside, yeah. But on the outside, no.

"Thank you." I said, walking towards my luggage to avoid more of her comments.
