"I hope that you are all getting along with your counsellors." Mr Woodlock said to the campers.

"Yes!" they replied enthusiastically.

"Where is our other counsellor?" Mika asked, pulling me on my trousers.

"He is here today." I smiled. "Did you enjoy the ice-cream that he got you guys yesterday?"

"Yes, it was delicious. He must also tell us his name and what he likes to do." she said.

"I will let him know." I winked at her.

"Today we are going to learn about the importance of teamwork." Mr Woodlock continued. "We have arranged a ton of games to play, that have a little bit of danger obviously. We want to see if you can help your teammates out or not." he explained.

"This sounds fun." I smiled to myself.

"All counsellors should go with their campers at any game." he finished and we walked over to the first one that we spotted.

"So girls and boys, we should try to get past this, without getting caught in this net." I told the campers.

"Move." Tamia said to me and my campers, Kylie being beside her and their campers standing behind them.

"Pardon?" I asked them.

"We want this one, so go somewhere else." Kylie said, pushing me.

"We got here first, so you guys should leave." Mika said in a squeaky voice.

"Exactly." Christopher added.

Glad they can stand up for themselves at this young age.

"Oh, look at you two, standing up for your mommy." Tamia said in a low voice, looking at Mika and Christopher. "Shut the f*ck up before I make you." she said harshly to them.

"Let's get going guys, besides, this one is for losers." I said, looking at Kylie and Tamia.

"Losers." my campers said, making L's with their fingers and placing them on their foreheads whilst walking away.

"Who is she calling losers?" Kylie asked.

No response.

We walk to the other game and start with it, whilst I tell them about the importance of teamwork. The first round was pretty bad because everyone was just doing their own thing, but eventually, they started helping each other out when one needed help from the other.

We try the other games and we have lots of fun.

Aaron walks over after a few hours, looking like a total mess. Hair messy, jersey unzipped and not worn properly, shoes not tied.

At least he made it today, even though he's late.

"Sorry I'm late." he said, walking towards me.

"Whatever." I sighed. "Just introduce yourself to our campers."

He whistles, getting the attention of the campers and uttered, "I'm Aaron Kavinsky, a basketball senior in Wellington High School."
