10 | First Time Proposing To HER!

Thank you for all the support! Hope all are well and enjoy this chapter. It is a bit longer than the other chapters that I have written and ignore any mistakes!!

Ashwin has been planning to surprise his Keerthi with the dream proposal on their engagement day but decided to do it the day before. He was still not sure whether to do it privately or in front of his family. But then decided to do it privately and spend some time with her too. He revealed his plan to the elders and they agreed immediately. He wanted Keerthi to feel special and he also knew that it was Keerthi's wish that someone proposes her like this. Ashwin was willing to go overboard to fulfill her wish too. She had openly told him about wishes like these and he was determined to at least complete some of them with her.

He got the help of his sister from Cardiff and also Keerthi's friend Saranya who was ready to do anything. Saranya also promised that some of her office colleagues will also help with the arrangements and planning to make the day special. So Ashwin decided to do it in his back garden as it was very spacious. He also wanted to get a dress for her and a matching suit for him. He decided to go shopping the next day and purchase the necessary things. Shreya his sister on the other hand was elated to know that his brother is going out of his comfort zone to propose to Keerthi. She loved Keerthi the moment she saw her. Her personality stood out for her and there she decided that she was perfect for her brother. The way Ashwin looks at her talks about her proved to Shreya that he was madly in love with Keerthi and she was happy to see him like this.  She thought of surprising her brother by going to London in two days and helping in the setup.

Ashwin has partially done the planning and explained his expectations to the event planners and Saranya too. Tomorrow he was planning to get the dress and other items necessary for the big day!

The Next day:

Ashwin got up early, went for a run, and took a day off to prepare everything needed. He went to the mall to get her a black dress. Keerthi looked very hot in a dress last time they met so he wanted to get an elegant long dress for this important occasion.  He was passing this boutique and a black dress caught his eye. Then and there he decided that it was the one and it was like the dress was made for her. He went and bought it for her. He also gift-wrapped it and dropped it at her house and informed her mum about the plan. Keerthi's mum will give the dress to her on that day when Ashwin has given her the signal.

When Ashwin decided and planned everything, he called Keerthi that night and talked about random things. Keerthi had no idea of anything about all this.

New day (Proposal Day):

Ashwin woke up with the sound of commotion downstairs. He was irritated but was surprised to see Shreya standing there. He hugged the life out of her!

Shreya: Hi bro! I am here

Ashwin: I missed you!

Shreya: I know, I know! I had to be here to see your proposal. Wouldn't miss it for the world

Ashwin: You are the best

Ashwin's mum: Okay children, get ready and come. We will have breakfast together.

They all had breakfast together and Shreya noticed Ashwin nervous.

Shreya: Bro why are you nervous? Don't worry everything will go as plan today and Keerthi will love it!

Ashwin: yes... Hope she likes it

Shreya: Yes of course she will.

Later all went to the room and Shreya was busy assisting the event planners in the backyard. Ashwin on the other hand instructed Keerthi's mum to gift the dress to her and also informed Keerthi to get dressed in that and meet him at his backyard by 6 pm. Keerthi was curious about these new details and was excited to see what was going to happen.
