Life was going as usual. It was nearly a week with her new boss and she tried ignore Daniel as much as possible. Daniel was also trying so hard to meet her alone but she always escapes. As her fear increased now, Ashwin picks her up from work everyday. Keerthi was grateful for HIM as always. She couldn't even bring up any allegations against her boss yet so she had to keep quiet.
Daniel on the other hand could not stop thinking about her. In his eyes she was so beautiful. Many women throw their self at him but she was so different. He got to know about her family, and especially her husband too. Daniel wanted her at any cost but she was not meeting him alone.
It was Wednesday and Keerthi finished her work around 4.30 pm but to her surprise she got an email from Daniel to complete a letter which was supposed to be be submitted tomorrow. But Keerthi already prepared the draft so she had to adjust some details. Everyone started leaving and she was doing her last bit. Saranya was sent to inform Ashwin about her delay. No one was there except Daniel. He informed her to bring the letter to his cabin. She knew something was fishy. She texted Ashwin immediately about this and went inside. She sent a text saying to come upstairs if he hasn't heard from her in 5 minutes. Ashwin was started to panic when he saw her message. He now regretted of not acting early when she complained about all the happenings from the office with the so called boss. Ashwin was not patient, he went upstairs as the security knew him. He went and waited inside her cabin which was few feet away from that bastard's. He was pacing around the cabin.
Keerthi went in and saw only Daniel present there.
Keerthi: Sir, the letter you asked for..
Daniel: Thank you, have a seat I need to discuss something important.
Keerthi took her seat uncomfortably. He got up from his seat and started walking around talking about random issues in the office. He then came close to her seat and and kept his hands on her shoulders. She flinched and got up but he was not going to miss this opportunity today.
Daniel: Come on Keerthi! I want you so badly right now
Keerthi slapped him and tried to run but he held her wrist and pushed her on the table. Keerthi started screaming for help but her started kissing her lips and moved down towards her neck when the door opened revealing Ashwin there. She literally ran and hugged him as her life depended on him. Ashwin was now boiling with rage. He went towards Daniel, slapped and punched him. Daniel fell down with a bleeding nose.
Ashwin: Don't you dare touch her. I will not let that happen. I should have been more careful when she mentioned about you.You bastard, wait till I take actions against you.
Ashwin went near Keerthi and his heart became soft. He hugged her and took her towards the car. Keerthi could not stop crying. Ashwin tried to console her but it was all going in vain. It was the first time something like this happened to her. She has been tried to be molested today. Ashwin tried to give her space and quickly took her home.
As soon as his mom opened the door Keerthi ran to her room crying.
Mom: What happened Ashwin?
Dad: Why is she crying?
Ashwin explained everything to them and they were utterly shocked. They did not know what to say. His mom advised him to be with her as this is the time she needs support. Ashwin went to their room and was heart broken to see her sitting on the floor, her head against the bed and trying to vigorously erase the places he touched and kiss. Ashwin's heart broke. He swear he will not leave that idiot who did this to her. He went near her and hugged her. She hugged him back and asked,
Keerthi: Do you still love me?
Ashwin: What are you talking babe? Yes of course. Nothing will change that. I know this will be very hard for you but you have me by your side always.
Ashwin carried her to the bathroom and discarded her clothes and helped her to wash her. He was so gentle and her crying also subsided. She was still staring somewhere and thinking deeply. Ashwin brought her back and made her wear baggy t shirt and shorts.
Again she started to tear up and this was not the sight he wanted to see.

The eyes that showed love, compassion and happiness is now showing fear and tears. It broke his heart into pieces. With the help of few of his colleagues he filed a complaint against Daniel at the police station too. He wanted him to get punished for what he did to HER. Ashwin hugged her and both slept together.
A knock on the door woke up him and it was his mom with some food. He knew she wouldn't have eaten anything properly. He tried waking her up but she didn't.
Ashwin: Babe wake up and have some food please!
Ashwin was loud enough and she woke up. She had her food silently and did not speak a word with him.
Ashwin: Babe! Talk to me... I can't see you like this.
Keerthi: I...I actually.... I am feeling blank
Ashwin: I know babe... I am again telling you I am always with you. Take your time to heal and ask me anything.
Keerthi nodded and both drifted to sleep with this unknown sadness in their hearts.
