Seoyeon's POV

I don't know why am I seeing myself in this kind of situation. I mean, I'm doing the right thing, I guess? I exchanged my day-off to do a favor for a dear friend, then I'm also doing another favor for my boss and his daughter. Not just any favor, but to pretend as a mother of a child I didn't give birth to. It's nothing hard to do, especially Hwayoung is pretty cooperative. Just like now, where we are all gathered at the lawn for the announcement before the activities starts. Yet, we still have a few minutes to spare since we are still waiting for some pupils. Most of the parents, specifically the mothers, are looking at me as if I'm an alien. I don't know why, but I just ignored their stare. Good thing that the parents under the group as same as Hwayoung, are kind and friendly.

"Hello!" A couple greeted as they sat on the vacant chairs beside us, bringing a little girl with them, so I just bowed and smiled.

"Hi, Hwayoung!" The little girl beamed, which took Hwayoung's attention from playing Cinnamoroll.

"Hello, Misun!" Hwayoung waved happily.

"You must be Hwayoung's mother?" The lady asked all of a sudden, but I didn't nod nor agree, and just smiled.

"Nice to meet you, ma'am. I'm Park Seoyeon." I introduced as I offer my hand, which she gladly accepted.

"It's so nice to finally meet the mother of this amazing girl." She replied, all smiles and sweetly. "I'm Choi Jia, Misun's mother. Just call me Jia, no need for ma'am. My daughter adores your daughter so much." She chuckled as she glance at the two, who are now being watched by Mr. Kim and the father of Misun as they play at the swing near the lawn.

"You have a very wonderful daughter, Jia." I uttered as I look at the kids.

"Your daughter is very intelligent, I must say." She complimented, before averting her eyes on me. "You look so young, Seoyeon. How old are you?" She asked.

"I'm 25 years old. How about you, Jia?" I queried, but she gasped after.

"I'm already 32 years old. Misun is my second child. But oh my, you're only 25? No wonder you look so youthful! I bet, those other mothers are envious of your appearance." She joked as she laugh.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I questioned.

"You know, kindergarten is not just a place for children, but a place to gossip for mothers. They're looking at you, probably because you look fresher than them." She snickered, making me chuckle slightly as I notice the low-key stares I receive from the others.

"I don't think so," I just smiled, but she shook her head.

"It's really hard for us to stay fresh and beautiful, beside from the fact that we handle most of the chaos and stress. But I must say, now I know where Hwayoung got her beauty." She nodded, before continuing, "Your husband seems strict, huh?" She shrugged.

"Husband?" I repeated.

"Yeah, your husband. Hwayoung's father?" She then pointed at Mr. Kim, who is quietly watching Hwayoung, so I came to realization.

"Oh, him.... Yes, he's kinda strict, but he is sweet." I just said, and she hummed in acknowledgement.

"Have the two of you ever thought of making another one?" She suddenly whispered, bringing heat to my face that made me blush so hard as I fell speechless.

I just chuckled awkwardly and thank goodness, her husband called her. By that time, Mr. Kim and Hwayoung came back and sat beside me. I got conscious when I noticed his stares on me, not until he spoke.
