When You Can't Sleep - HC

Hideyoshi Toyotomi

-- You and Hideyoshi had lights out a while ago now but while he was sleeping peacefully, for you it was another story and you kept tossing and turning. There wasn't a single moment that you felt comfortable

-- You were moving so much that Hideyoshi had woken up. "What's wrong Y/n?, why aren't you sleeping?" he asked while propping himself up and looking at you with concern

-- "Oh, sorry I woke you up, I can't seem to fall to sleep" you stated feeling bad that you had woke him up from his sleep

-- "Don't worry about that, as long as your alright" he said and laid his hand gently on your head where he proceeded to stroke

-- He opened his arms "come here" he smiled affectionately

-- You scooted closer to him and he enclosed his arms around you and you fell back in the bed together where you suddenly felt comfortable and drifted off into a peaceful sleep

Ieyasu Tokugawa

-- Ieyasu wasn't back from his mission yet and you found it hard to sleep without him. You cuddled up to the blanket but that wasn't helping, it was getting frustrating because the sooner you fell asleep the sooner you could welcome Ieyasu back in the morning

-- You were trying so hard to finally sleep that you weren't even aware that Ieyasu had come back early and had quietly entered the room. He had watched you tossing and turning

-- He made his way over and you felt someone snake their arms around you to which you flinched and froze up at this unexpected contact

-- "You can sleep now" you heard Ieyasu whispered breathily in your ear. You visibly relaxed knowing it was him. He pulled you into his body and suddenly you got so sleepy

-- "Ieyasu, you're back? Welcome home" you turned around in his arms and snuggled up into his chest. This is where you belonged.

-- You both spent a lot of time sleeping in each others arms all night and even into late morning, it was just so comfortable you couldn't be bothered to get up

Mitsunari Ishida

-- It was late in the night but Mitsunari was sitting up in bed with the lantern on reading a book on military formations. You didn't want to disturb him but the light was making it a little hard for you to sleep

-- You turned around to face the other way so the light wasn't on your face and Mitsunari looked over to you and then realized why you had turned over

-- "Oh sorry Y/n. It was too bright wasn't it?" Mitsunari extinguished the flame as you turned around and smiled apologetically at him

-- "Sorry I disturbed your reading" you said to him as he put his book down and slipped under the covers where you were already nestled

-- "Don't worry, I'm more than happy to stop reading if it means you can get some sleep and besides I can always finish it tomorrow" he bent down to your head and placed a gentle kiss on the top before flinging his arm over your waist to keep you close

-- It was now dark enough for you too sleep and eventually you were lulled into a deep slumber by the even sound of Mitsunari's breathing

Sasuke Sarutobi

-- Lately you had been having trouble sleeping and each night Sasuke had tried a different method to help you from heating the sheets for you, making you a Sengoku style hot chocolate

-- Like clock work you couldn't sleep again today and Sasuke just wanted to help the woman he loved to have a restful night, he didn't want you to be tired tomorrow so he decided to sing you a lullaby

-- His voice was a little awkward and you could tell that he didn't sing very often but just the idea that he was doing this for you was so soothing that you curled into his embrace and he caressed your head and ran his hand down your back

-- After a few different lullabies, you had drifted off to sleep in your lovers arms. He would always be there to help you in what ever you needed

-- "Sweet dreams Y/n" he lovingly whispered as he placed an affectionate kiss on your cheek and tucked the covers more around you to keep you warm

-- When you woke up in the morning you felt so relaxed and happy and it was all due to your great boyfriend. You made a promise to yourself then that if he ever needed your help you would gladly help him even if it was singing him to sleep also
