It was finally graduation day, the high school gym floor was covered with students donned in the yellow caps and gowns along with their parents and teachers dressed in their very best. "When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up... our answers were things like astronaut, president, or in my case princess" everyone's eyes were on Jessica Stanley as she stood at the podium the senior class valedictorian. "When we were ten, they asked again and we answered rock star, cowboy, or in my case gold medalist but now that we've grown up, they want a serious answer. Well, how 'bout this who the hell knows!?"
Loud hoots and hollers echoed from the audience but Isabella Swan was thinking too hard and focusing on Jessica's words and Addison Cullen could see the never-ending void of the human's thoughts making her frown and it was almost like Bella had felt Addison's gaze turning around to meet her golden eyes. "Don't think about the future right now just enjoy today" Addison mouthed and Bella nodded taking a deep breath.
"This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, it's the time to make mistakes. take the wrong train, and get stuck somewhere chill, fall in love- a lot". Jasper smiled down at Addison as she seemed to cuddle more into his side, her eyes moving from Jessica as she smiled lovingly at him. "Major in philosophy because there's no way to make a career out of that, change your mind, then change it again because nothing is permanent...so make as many mistakes as you can, that way someday when they ask again what we want to be... we won't have to guess. we'll know"...

Alice had transformed the Cullen's house into a nightclub, it was wall to wall with teenagers dancing and celebrating. Bella was immediately overwhelmed by the crowd as she weaved through searching for Edward, she finally spotted him noticing how deep he was in consultation with Carlisle, Emmett, and Jasper, their was mood intense. She headed towards them but Jessica and Angela swooped in her path along with Addison "Bells, you made it" the vampire cheered her bell-like voice almost a shout over the loud music. "Hey what'd you think of my speech? too easy-breezy, too self-helpful?" Jessica asked as Addison playfully rolled her eyes still slightly swaying to the music "I tried to tell her that it changed lives but she won't listen to me". Bella cracked a tiny smile not used to seeing all her girlfriends together in such good moods "no you pretty much nailed it". Jessica's confidence was once again boosted "yeah? It's like I was born to lead, right?"
