Running scared, I was there I remember it all too well

"Rhysand replied." Zane announced as he entered the room.

"Good." Eris said, the man was busy writing something

"Congratulations." Eris added

Zane smiled.

"Now, I need you to arrange the paperwork and bring in a full report of the outskirts of Amvale, and tell father I need to see him." Eris said

Zane nodded miserably.

"You're always asking me for full reports." The male scowled

"Well, he does that because you need to do something you hunk or you'll start wailing here and about." Sirius said

One corner of Eris' lips tugged up.

"God I hope I'm not late." Isabella came into the room shutting the door behind her.

"What happened? Zane kept you in bed longer." Sirius teased

The girl's cheeks reddened.

"You were supposed to wake me up." Isabella said to Zane who was smiling softly

"I know." He said

"Then why didn't you?" The female asked him, pouting.

"I am sorry." he said pulling her into a hug.

"Och, stop it." Eris said

Sirius smiled sadly at his older brother who was staring out the window now, probably thinking of Lilliana.

He could swear, Eris was humming the tune to which Lilliana and him had danced to on their wedding.

Isabella was now reading a few reports that sat on Eris' desk.

"Rhysand says he'd like to meet somewhere." Isabella said to Eris who was still gazing out of the window

"Eris." Isabella said again

He turned, shaking his head slightly.

"You were saying something." Eris said, his breath uneven.

Zane and Isabella shared a sad look and then Isabella glanced once more at the parchment of paper she had in her hands.

"I'm saying that Rhysand said, he'd like to arrange a meeting." Isabella said

"Did he mention where?" Eris aksed, pulling a drawer open.

Sirius spotted a framed portrait sitting in there, he struggled to look at it, but did know who it was of.

Long pale hair, icy blue eyes, a certain someone from the winter court, Straight nose, full mouth.

Very obvious.

A smile coiled at Sirius' mouth.

"He didn't, he'd like for you to write again, giving a summary of what you want his aid in, and an arrangement of a meeting." Isabella said

"Okay." Eris said still skimming through the drawer.

Sirius stood on his toes and saw the full portrait.

It looked new, framed, and the details were exact. This was not made while the female was here, It was requested after, by Eris of course. But how was his description exact, so accurate that the painted portrait looked like Lilliana.

An accurate description.

It was shocking.

And also not shocking.

"I can pen your reply." Sirius offered

"No, I'll do it myself, If we are to become Allies, let's start on proper footing." Eris said shutting the drawer, and pulling out a few papers he stacked on his desk.
