Sam and Dean

Traversing the cave was much easier than it would have been without Jono's previous markings. The cave structure had many places where paths split off in different directions. Jono's markings were still evident, making sure they stayed on the right one. They were only attacked by some unknown creature one time and it was easily dispatched.

Even with Jono's help it took some time to reach the place they were looking for. There were several sconces on the wall to hold torches, and they all placed theirs in one. They were in a fairly large cavern, obviously not made naturally. The walls were lined floor to ceiling with rocks. Dean began touching them, looking for a loose one.

"I believe you'll need this," Jono said. "Though I can't see how it works."

"We know," said Dean. "It will only work if we both hold it."

They took ahold of the key and laid it against a random rock. A glowing arrow appeared pointing to the right. They moved right three more times before the arrow changed direction and pointed down. Moving the key to the rock right above the floor still pointed down. When they placed it on the floor, they got a glowing X.

"Sammy, did you happen bring a shovel?" Dean asked in a mock pleasant tone.

"No, Dean, That's just one of the many things we could probably think of that we didn't think to bring," he said, angrily, emphasizing his irritation by banging his fist on the wall.

"Not to worry," said Jono, "You're traveling with an earth mage, did you forget?" he said. He held his hand above the spot on the floor and soon dirt began removing itself from the area marked with an X. After he had gone down about two feet, a stone box like the other appeared. They uncovered enough dirt to pull it out.

Sam and Dean looked at each other significantly as they each help one side of the box. Slowly they opened it, fearing it was going to be yet more directions to follow. To their express delight, the box contained the crystal heart, a white one just as Jono had said. Sam picked it up and placed it in it's pouch.

"Well, then" said Dean, "there's two down."

"Listen, guys," said Jono. "I wish I could go with you on the rest of your journey and help where I could."

Sam chuckled, "That makes three of us," he said.

"Well, in absence of that," Jono said, "I've made a list that I think will help you." He handed Dean a list. "These are the names of all the people I know for sure are in the underground, and where they live if I know it. I'd prefer you memorize it and destroy it. I'd hate to see it get into the wrong hands."

"Thank you," said Dean. "and Understood."

Sam said, "Let's walk you back out and then we can throw this orb."

Outside the cave, Jono gave both of them a hug and wished them well. "Hope to see you again, sometime," he said, as Dean threw down the orb.

Eric, Jared and Jensen

Eric had the boys call their wives and let them know they would be unavailable for the next day or two, promising to explain further when they got home. Then Jensen said "Okay, what about shooting?"

"Don't worry about that, I'll work things out with production," said Eric. "They can shoot around you. Take your scripts if you're still learning lines." Then he had a thought. "Hopefully, they won't disappear." he added.

"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Jared.

"I'm sure you'll find out before it's all said and done," Eric answered, sardonically.
