Ashton: you interrupted him before his face got any redder.
"Do you wanna come in, Ash? You can talk to me while I'm getting ready."
He gulped anxiously but nodded and wandered inside cautiously.
"So, what's wrong? What do you seem so nervous about?" You asked him. How on earth were you managing to keep your nerves out of your voice? It baffled you.
"You shouldn't go on a date tonight, [Y/N]. Whoever it is isn't right for you. I... I'm right for you." He blurted. Despite his quick speaking, you could hear the sheer emotion behind every word he was saying. He really meant it.
"You... You like me?" You asked him quietly, turning to face him fully.
"I have for as long as I can remember. I can't stand the thought of you with anyone else. Please don't go tonight." He said, pronouncing his words more clearly this time.
You took two steps towards him and crashed your lips onto his, grasping the nape of his neck and pushing him into you.
"I wish you'd told me sooner."
"S-so... You're not gonna go on your date?"
"My date was with Luke. This was his genius plan to get us to admit our feelings." You explained with a small smile.
"And it worked perfectly I might add. Im gonna leave now. Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" Luke laughed, emerging from behind the cupboard and disappearing as quickly as he had appeared.
"So you're not going to date someone else?" Ashton asked nervously.
"Ash, the only person I want to date is you."

Calum: there was a violent knocking on your door. That would no doubt be Michael and Calum. You swallowed your fear and answered the door with a wide smile.
"Hi guys," you greeted them happily, opening the door wider to allow them in.
"Hey, are you alright?" Michael said immediately, his hand grasping your arm almost urgently. His eyes were brimming with worry and you couldn't help but feel a little grateful for having a friend as good as him.
"I'm fine, thanks Mike. Why did you guys need to come over?"
"Calum needs to talk to you," out of the corner of your eye you saw Calum's cheeks redden at the mention of his name. This couldn't be good.
"Um, okay..."
"I'm gonna go. Call me if you need me." Michael said, turning and leaving hastily, leaving you staring at the door and Calum staring at the floor.
"What's wro-"
Calum's lips were on yours before you even had a chance to think. His hands were on your waist, holding you gently but firmly against him, and you found your hands knotting themselves in his hair.
He pulled back after a few moments, his heavy and uneven breathing matching yours.
"I like you, [Y/N]. And I'm an idiot. I shouldn't have said what I did. I like you so much it makes me crazy. We should be dating."
"You really think so?"
He nodded. "I really do. I'm sorry for being a dick. I was scared that you were gonna reject me, but that doesn't excuse it. I really really like you, [Y/N]."
"I like you too, Cal." You replied slowly. And with that, your lips were roughly colliding with each other's again.

Luke: "Luke what the hell are you doing? You cannot go out with Kylie when you're this in love with [Y/N]! It isn't fair on her!" Calum angrily hissed at Luke. You hadn't meant to be eavesdropping, but you had come upstairs to go to the toilet and had heard Calum whispering your name frustratedly.
"She doesn't like me, Calum! If she liked me she would've told me not to go tonight, or even just shown me some hint that she didn't want me to go!" Luke whispered back. Neither of them had mastered the art of whisper-shouting.
"She did! She left when you were rambling on about your date!"
"She told me she didn't feel very well. Calum, she doesn't care. I'll be fine."
"Luke if you just asked her..."
"I'm not making myself look like an idiot in front of her! I almost gave myself away today when I glared at Mike for hugging her. I couldn't actually tell her, I'd be too scared."
"Just tell her, Luke,"
"Just tell her what? Tell her that I can't stand the idea of her going off with anyone who isn't me? That I hate having to spend a day without seeing her smile? That her laugh is literally the best sound I have ever heard? That she makes me want to write songs about her? That all I want to do is make her happy? I can't tell her that!"
"You just did," you said quietly, stepping into the room and staring straight at Luke, who immediately averted his eyes to the floor. Calum grinned and left without a word. Luke's cheeks were beet red and he seemed to be looking everywhere but at you.
"Did you really mean that?" You whispered, taking a step closer to him. He gulped and looked up, straight into your eyes.
"Every word."
You took the final few steps over to him and entwined your lips, kissing him until your mouth went numb.
"Why didn't you tell me?" You said after a while.
"I was scared of what you would say. I was afraid that you would hate me."
You kissed him again.
"I could never hate you Luke. Never."

Michael: You watched his face intently, nerves wracking through you when his perfect jaw clenched and determination flashed through his eyes. What exactly would he say?
And then he did something you were not expecting. He seized your lips with his own, taking you completely by surprise. His hands were on your waist pulling you into him; he was holding you so closely it was like he was afraid that if he didn't keep you near him you would vanish.
He pulled his head back a fraction, his breath hot on your lips. His eyelids flickered open, revealing his lust filled eyes.
"You're clueless. I've wanted to do that for such a long time now, and you haven't even realised." He said slowly. You could barely believe his words.
"R- really?" You whispered in disbelief. He nodded, a half smile curving his lips. You waited a few moments before speaking. He had opened up to you, now it was your turn.
"I was only dancing with Calum to make you jealous. He wanted us to get together so he said he would help me. It was actually Ashton's idea." You explained, a blush creeping up your cheeks.
"So.... You like me too?"
You smirked and ignored his question. Instead you laced your hands through his hair and pulled his lips onto yours, hoping this would explain everything you couldn't say.
