Michael: I bit the insides of my cheeks as I watched her kiss him goodbye. She was smiling at him with the same smile she used for me, which fucked me up because I'm the only person she ever looks at like that. But obviously I'm not anymore. I faked a smile as she skipped over to where I was waiting for her.
"You ready?" She sighed happily. Don't get me wrong, I was glad that she was happy, I just wished that it was me who could make her happy like that instead of him.
"Yeah, c'mon," I replied, pushing myself off the wall I was leaning on and tipping my shades from the top of my head to cover my eyes. She linked her arm with mine, urging me to walk faster.
"Why did he have to walk you here? Couldn't you make it on your own?" I suddenly snapped. Why the fuck did I say that? Fuck.
"What?" She exclaimed, obviously shocked at my bluntness. Her happy buzz was gone just like that. Oh fuck.
"N-nothing. Forget I said anything."
"What the fuck Michael? He's my boyfriend, why wouldn't he walk me here?"
"I didn't mean anything by it okay, I'm sorry. Just get in the car." I mumbled, opening her door for her. She exhaled frustratedly but got in, but not without aggressively slamming the door behind her. This was gonna be a great road trip.

Luke: I had been faking my smiles and laughs for the last half an hour now. [Y/N] refused to shut up about her boyfriend, Danny. I couldn't even bring myself to leave because of how desperately I was in love with her. Hearing her talk about someone else was painful, but I wanted to spend all of my time with her. Plus, an hour she spent with me was an hour she wasn't with him.
"We should go on a road trip, [Y/N]." I suggested impulsively. Finally she quit talking about him.
"What? A road trip?" She questioned.
"Yeah! I can drive now so we can go and camp in some places and stay in hotels in others. What d'ya think?" I hadn't thought this through at all, so each word that came out of my mouth surprised me.
"When?" She had a twinkle in her green eyes. That only appeared when she liked something, which is how I knew that she liked this idea.
"Uhhh, we could go... Tomorrow?" I suggested. She raised her eyebrows, clearly thinking about how short notice this was.
She smiled at me after a few moments.
"I would love that."
"Well get packing then."
She smiled even wider, "how long are we gonna go for?"
"Two, three weeks tops?"
She nodded in approval.
"Go home and start getting stuff ready then!" She exclaimed, pushing me off her bed.
"I'll pick you up at 9 tomorrow babe. See you then," I told her, feeling an odd sense of pride when her cheeks flushed at my use of the word 'babe.'

Ashton: I knocked on [Y/N]'s door, almost bouncing in excitement. After what felt like forever, she opened it. My excitement was mirrored in her; her beautiful eyes were wide and her cheeks were flushed pink with anticipation.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Almost! Tyler called so I got a bit distracted. Come in!"
I grimaced at the mention of her boyfriend, Tyler. He was a complete ass - he was so far away from her type it was a surprise that they were even together. I despised him, but I was also envious of him. He had her, and I wanted her so badly. I needed her. She was my main source of happiness.
I sat on the kitchen counter and listened to her rushing about upstairs, singing and talking to herself as she went. She was so cute.
Finally she appeared in the doorway, a huge suitcase in one hand and half a dozen bags in the other. I grinned. I knew she would over pack.
"Got everything you need?"
She nodded enthusiastically and proceeded to the door, yelling at me to unlock my car as she got outside. I followed her out and unlocked it, jogging over to open the boot for her when she struggled. She smiled up at me when she finished packing everything into the car and her eyes sparkled with happiness and excitement. She was so cute I had to put extreme effort into stopping myself from awkwardly and extravagantly professing my feelings for her.
"Let's go!" She chirped. She ran to lock up and practically sprinted back. She clearly was very excited. I was just happy about getting to spend weeks with her and just her.

Calum: I tightly gripped my pint of beer, angry that I couldn't drink more due to having to drive in the morning. [Y/N] was dancing with her boyfriend, leaving me sat alone at the bar. I hated that guy, and I hated that she was with him even more. Tonight was supposed to be about having one last night out in our little hometown before we went on our month long road trip. I hadn't anticipated that she would've invited other people along with us tonight. I should've guessed really; I couldn't blame her for wanting to say goodbye to her friends - she wasn't going to see them for ages. Still, I wished she hadn't brought him.
The more I watched them dance the angrier I got. Her dance moves seemed to be getting more and more sexual, and his hands seemed to be getting more and more adventurous. I snapped my head away from them, trying to concentrate on the heavy beat of the music that surged around me.
A few minutes later I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I knew it was [Y/N], I could recognise her just from the way it felt when she touched me. I turned to her smiling eyes and grinned like nothing was wrong. If only I could tell her everything that I wanted to say. But, unfortunately, that would just fuck things up.
"Uh, I think I'm gonna head off," I shouted over the music. Her smile dropped.
"Why?!" She whined.
"You know, early start tomorrow and stuff. Do you still want me to pick you up at 10?"
She nodded, still frowning.
"I suppose I'll see you in the morning then." She said sadly. At least she cared that I wouldn't be there. I didn't want to leave her with her jackass boyfriend, but I knew if I stayed any longer I would punch him in the nose. It was fine; tomorrow was the start of a whole month with her and no dickhead boyfriend.
