Michael: my eyes fell on [Y/N] the second she walked into the room. She looked stunning.
"W-wow." I stumbled, trying to keep my eyes on her eyes. It was a difficult task considering the dress she was wearing hugged every inch of her body perfectly and the low neckline didn't exactly leave much to the imagination.
She smiled at me, making my heart beat that little bit faster.
"Ready to go?" She asked.
"Yeah. Let's go." I said, offering her my arm. She looped hers through mine and squeezed my arm gently.
"Let's go get wasted."
Tonight we were having an adventure in a club we had come across while searching this town yesterday. It had a bubble machine.
When we arrived I was slightly conscious of all the eyes on us. Well, all the eyes on her. She was stunning. All of the guys in the place were staring at her - it made me a little uncomfortable. She was mine, even though she wasn't really.
"So... I broke up with him." She told me when we were comfortably in a booth.
"Really? That's great." I exclaimed. Maybe I should've tried to seem a little less excited.
"Yup. I'm better off without him."
"I knew you would be the first time I met him."
"You've always got my back Mike."
I nodded and we laughed together.
"So... what now?" I asked.
"Get wasted and have a one night stand. It's time to get over him."
I couldn't tell if she was joking or not, but all the same her words sparked jealously in me. She shouldn't be sleeping with anyone but me.
She pushed a shot glass towards me and raised hers in front of my face.
"Here's to a night we won't forget." She said, a mischievous grin gracing her face. Oh no.

Luke: I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She wasn't with Danny? That changed everything. Well, not really. I was still too much of a wimp to tell her how I felt about her.
"Uh... Can we stop playing now?"
She nodded. "Sure. What d'ya wanna do?"
"Tell me why you broke things off with him."
"I had a realisation."
"What realisation?"
"That it wasn't right. That he wasn't right for me."
"Why not?"
"Luke I feel like you're interrogating me!"
I ignored her comment and pressed her for an answer.
"Why?"
"Because he wasn't!"
"There must've been a reason."
"Luke."
She sounded serious now. I had pushed her too far. I could try again later.
"Sorry. I just like knowing."
"I know you do. We should tell ghost stories!"
Of course she would want to do that. She was weird. I grinned; I knew how much she liked ghost stories so I had been searching for an utterly terrifying one for next time she asked. Now was my time.

By the end of the story [Y/N] was clinging to me for comfort. I had successfully managed to scare her with my ghost story.
"That was awful." She whispered when I had finished. I smirked and nodded.
"I'm sleeping in your bit of the tent tonight. There's no way I'm going to my room alone after that."
I let her cuddle into me and prayed that she couldn't hear how loud my heart was beating. I was just about to drift off when she spoke.
"Hey, Luke?"
"Hmm?"
"There was a reason."
I automatically knew what she was talking about.
"There was? What?"
She was silent for a while. I thought she had fallen to sleep. Just as I had given up all hope, she spoke again.
"He wasn't right for me because he wasn't you."

Ashton: the next day it was like nothing had happened. [Y/N] was her usual chirpy self and showed no signs of sadness whatsoever. I couldn't get my mind off what she had said to me last night. Whenever I'm with you I'm always happy. She probably hadn't meant much by it, but I couldn't help thinking into it. I desperately wanted to ask her about everything but I didn't want to make her sad again. Maybe she would bring it up at some point.
"Ashton?" She said, startling me out of my thoughts. I had been staring at her for a couple of minutes now without blinking, she must be getting pretty freaked out.
"Hmm? Yeah? Sorry." I muttered, looking away. She giggled.
"I can tell you wanna ask me how I am."
"How are you?" I said slowly.
"I'm fine Ash, honestly."'
"I just... I don't understand why he would break up with you. You're perfect."
Her cheeks turned pink and a small smile tugged at the edges of her lips.
"He gave me a pretty good reason actually. Now that my heads a little more clear it's understandable why he did it."
"There is no reason good enough to hurt you. What was it?"
She flushed pink again, like the reason was something to embarrassed of. She shook her head and didn't reply to my question.
"Oh c'mon, [Y/N], tell me! It can't be that bad."
"It's not it's just... Well you might freak out a bit or take it the wrong way."
That confused me. Did that mean the reason had something to do with me? Or maybe I was just looking at this on a totally obscure angle.
"Why.... Why would I?"
"Because I know what you're like."
That didn't explain much. I looked into her eyes, begging her to tell me. She sighed after a couple of minutes, signalling that she had given in. My heart started beating quickly as the adrenaline surged through me. I wasn't sure why I was getting so high rate about this, but something was telling me that this was important. I fidgeted nervously as I waited for her to speak again.
"Well... The reason Tyler broke up with me... It was because...." She paused for a moment. I could tell she was doubting her decision to tell me. "He broke up with me because he said I was too in love with you."

Calum: I stared at her, my mouth hanging open in shock. I was speechless.
"Close your mouth Cal, I can see your burger." She commented. That was maybe a good place to start. [Y/N] took a bite of her pizza and called the waiter over so she could order another drink. It was like nothing had happened. My head was spinning and my heart was beating a million miles an hour. Why wasn't she elaborating on what she had just said? Why had she changed the subject? That was stuff I needed explaining to me in the plainest and simplest English. Even then I still wouldn't understand what she was trying to tell me. I hoped that her next words would be about her previous statement. Of course they weren't. That's just my luck.
"So where are we going?" She asked casually.
"Uh- I- um- well-" I stammered, trying my best to finish a sentence. She raised her eyebrows slightly and grinned cheekily at me, like she knew the effect she was having.
"We should just drive and see where we end up." She said through a mouthful of pizza. How was she eating? My throat seemed to have closed up that much I don't think I would've been able swallow anything.
"Yeah," I rasped. My mouth was dry, but no amounts of water were going to help that.
"Ready to go?" She asked after finishing her food. I nodded, still not trusting myself to speak. I followed her to the car, watching her every move. She was flawless.
I wasn't sure where we were heading too, so I was officially lost in all parts of my life. [Y/N] had managed to confuse the life out of my by confessing something that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. What she said implied that she liked me, but that seemed impossible.
In addition to being mentally lost (and fucked) I was also physically lost. This was turning out to be a great road trip.
