You hear a knock outside your room and the door opens, a head of blonde hair pokes in.

"Good morning, Y/N!" You smile and waved to the voice's owner.

"Good morning, Vincent! Did you eat yet?"

"Yeah. I was on my way outside. Wanna come with?"

"Ah, maybe tomorrow? If you can make it? I was working on something,

"Yeah, sure!! I'll figure something out."

"Thanks! Sorry if I took up your time."

"No, not at all! Thank you for helping take care of us!"

Vincent leaves and shuts the door quietly, after having that small talk with you. You hum as you continue sketching, taking a glance at the unused spray paint cans in the corner.

I guess I'll use them. After all, Comte did fetch them for me last month..

You hold up the sketched picture to your window, your source of natural light, sunlight. You flipped the page over to examine any faults, wanting this next piece to be flawless.

You went with Vincent out into town, making a trip directly to the art store to procure both paint, canvases, pencils and the like, before returning back to the mansion and putting them in their respective rooms for another day.

"Thanks for accompanying me and making time for this. It was fun. Did you enjoy it too?" I hear him ask. I turn around and face him with a smile.

"Of course. I was able to spend time with you and get the stuff I needed. I'm working on a project, and I'll let you see it when I'm either almost done or completely finished! How's that?"

"That would be nice. Can I invite you to another walk next week?" He asks.

I think about the current schedule for next week and its a bit busy.

'I'm off on Wednesday and Saturday. I have to deliver a finished work piece to Alice on Saturday. I have night shifts on both Monday and Tuesday. I'm doing full day work on Thursday.. Oh! I also need to stock up our pantry on Wednesday.. Alright, Wednesday it is!!'

"Can we go Wednesday? Its the only day next week that isnt busy."

"Yeah, I'm mostly free. I was planning to accompany you when you go to the market. Is it fine if I tag along?" I beam at him after he says this.

"Of course!! It's a date!" I turn on my heel and skip out of the corridor and back outside.

"Hey, what are they talking about?"

"Shh, shut up, we're gonna get caught!"

"They're having a nice conversation. What do you think its about?"

"I said, be quiet."

"No, you said 'Shh', not 'sShHhsh' like you normally do."

"Hey, she's leaving."

"Yeah, like I couldn't see that."

"Are you envying Vincent's situation..? To covet is a sin, I'll have you know."
