Chapter 136: Mordred vs Akito II

[Avalon Kingdom, Aqua Force Main Dormitory House, Sparring Ground]

In an instant Akito ran up towards Mordred in quick steps as he aligned his sword just below his waist and slashed upwards when he got close to her in few centimeters

Seeing his attack Mordred easily dodged it by taking one step backward while arching her back, unknown to her Akito had already predicted such reaction as he quickly shifted his hold unto his hilt in an opposite direction before slashing down hard in the same way when he initially attack

Of course he took a step forward when he did such a counter attack, which then caused Mordred to be blown away by a few steps which shocked everyone who was spectating the match

Nevertheless they all concentrated their attention unto the match as they focused unto every details that they made

Right after being dealt by a blow, Mordred quickly took multiple step back as a smile arch up on her face

Not long after she immediately crouched down below as she launched herself forward and aimed on striking Akito's legs

Unfortunately theater took notice of her quick movement, due to that Akito quickly took a leap of the air as he did a flip over Mordred and struck her from behind

Sadly due to Mordred's armor Akito wasn't able to land a fatal blow on her, which then resulted with crisp sound to  vibrate around the surroundings, identically such sound would only vibrate when Akito had hit a metallic object

Meaning in all throughout his attacks, he had only been able to hit Mordred's armor and not her own flesh, causing Akito to start to disdain armors even more

But quickly after he landed on his two feet, Mordred quickly made a quick turn as she caught Akito off guard and was shocked by that quick reaction

In a thrice Mordred slashed out her sword multiple times which then forced Akito to defend himself, unfortunately despite his efforts, Mordred was still able to inflict him some minor scratches

Relentlessly attacking Mordred then raised up her sword once more as she then took a huge breath in and dealt 10 attacks in one breath

Seeing that Akito quickly positioned himself as he brought in one of his swordmanship skills out

"Tomura's Fourth offensive sword form 23-Pon no hakai no ken (23 swords of destruction)"

Clashing multiple time a huge explosion of air then rung out of the surroundings as Mordred was then seen being blown away by their instant clash of swords

When she crashed down to the ground, everyone then couldn't believe it as they saw her armor being chipped in all direction

In fact they were surprised to see that she was overwhelmed at that moment, with that it then can't be helped to have someone comment on that clash

"Mordred's down! Well that was unexpected" said Merlin

"Nope! Not as unexpected as you expected since she just been overwhelmed by the amount of attack that Akito did in one breath" said Lionel

"What do you mean?" Asks Merlin

Hearing his question Iris om the other hand answered him in regard to boast about Akito

"Well based on my observation Mordred delivered about 10 attack in one breath, unfortunately with Akito's "Tomura's Fourth offensive sword form 23-Pon no hakai no ken (23 swords of destruction)" he was then able to overwhelm her by attacking 23 strikes in one breath"

"Compared to 10 strikes, it is natural that she would be outdone by 23 strikes, thus causing her current situation" added Lionel

Hearing them Merlin then looked towards Shun for confirmation only to see the latter agreeing towards their words

Due to that he was completely speechless

As for mordred herself, she still couldn't believe that she was overwhelmed by Akito, but nevertheless this is what she wanted, a heated battle between two opponent

With a laugh she then stood up from her spot and called out to Akito

"That was great! What skill was that? For a moment it felt like I've been struck by multiple swords in all direction.... truly amazing"

"Ahahahaha! Sorry! Its a family secret!" Replied Akito as he apologized for not telling her

Nevertheless despite that answer mordred was still heated up as she stretched out her arms unto the air before stancing herself infornt of Akito

"But still... that was amazing indeed, if I can't know the name of your attack, then I would just force you to show it to me"

In just few seconds Mordred launched herself once more as she stretches out her sword and begun clashing against Akito with her unorthodox sword skills

Of course Akito complied with her attacks as he also countered back with his own swordmanship

With that both of them clashed for a few more minutes before pulling away after their 59th sword exchange

Right after pulling away Mordred once more took the initiative as she closed in on Akito and threw in her sword towards him

Due to that Akito was completely surprised by that movement as he subconsciously dodged her sword by tilting his head, before being struck down by Mordred's fist

Following after that Mordred completely shifted from sword fight towards hand to hand combat which was quite disadvantageous for Akito himself

At that he was forced to either dodge Mordred's fist or take them head own, nevertheless he did try to counter her unfortunately the former was always one step ahead of him

With a punch straight to the face, Akito was then completely taken aback as he stepped a few steps backwards before being done in by a multiple punches on his shoulder, stomach, limbs, and sides

Mordred on the other hand was swift on her movement as she dealt a blow on Akito in all direction as she quickly spun around him, took ahold of his collar and threw him across the ground

Following that she then quickly ran up towards him while picking up her thrown sword and dealt with Akito's katana before pointing her sword right above his chest where his heart is located

At that exact timing Diva halted their attacks as she called off the sparring match with the victory being given to Mordred

With the match being halted Akito then slump down to the ground as he was completely taken aback by that complete change in fighting style, nevertheless he did do great which earned the applause from the other members

At that moment when he thought that he really did fine with that spareing match, Shun then came towards him as  he said

"Heh! Beaten by a girl... pathetic!"

"Why.... you"

Hearing those words Akito couldn't help but curse towards Shun's brazenness
