Due to the attempted assassination and the commotion created inside the party hall, the patrolling guards and adventurer immediately rushed in to protect the viscount and his daughter
As numerous guards and rushed in to surround the assassins, the perpetrator themselves became more wary and vigilant as they observed their surrounding and glaring at the soldiers at Adventurers nearby
"Millia!" Shouted Viscount Zack
"Daddy!" Shouted back Millia
"Are you okay?" Asks Viscount Zack
"I'm okay Daddy! Shun protected me" she replied
Hearing that Viscount Zack breath in relief
On the other hand the perpetrators and the the guards together with the Adventurers were having a standoff against each other
"Hehehe! Looks like you guys have run out their luck! Your actually surrounded" taunted shun
"Surrounded? I agree but you'll never catch us alive" growled by the Assassin who wields some daggers
Hearing that some guards became agitated as they threatened the Assassin's
"You damn rats! You better surrender now if you know what's good for you!" Shouted by the one particular guard
"Surrender? I think it's better if we die here together" retaliated by the Assassin
With that any form of negotiation was pushed aside as both sides are about to engage each other
As they were in a stalemate a voice rung out in everyone's ear that caught everyone's attention
Because of that all of them shifted their attention to where the viscount was and only to find that an assassin actually managed to sneak up from behind and took the viscount as a hostage
"Nobody moves!"
With that word everyone froze in their spots
"If you know what's good for him you guys better hand his daughter over right now!" Demanded the Assassin
"You bastard! Don't you dare lay a finger on my daughter! She has nothing to do with this! Why would you even do that?" Roared by the Viscount
Seeing her father being hostage by the assassin, Millia was willing to let herself be caught but Shun blocked her oath otherwise
"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Viscount don't you know? We want you in a leash! With your daughter in our custody you would not have a choice but to follow our clients every demand" said the Assassin
Hearing that the guards flew into rage
"That preposterous! How could you steep so low?" He roared in anger
With the guards action, the assassin immediately pressed the dagger at the Viscounts throat making the guard to back away due to the threat
"If you know what's good for him I won't dare you to move" he threatened
As the tension grows and the atmosphere grows heavier, Millia gathered her resolve and made her way through the crowd representing herself
"Don't... Don't hurt my father! I'll let you abduct me so let him go!" She demanded
"Millia no!" Reacted her father
"Mistress don't!" Reacted the guards
"What the!?!" Reacted Shun seeing that Millia slipped passed through him unnoticed
