Chapter 54: Serious Mode Shun

[Kartrik Grand Dungeon, 11th Floor]

The next day after that both Shun and Sephiria started to scour some information about the dungeon on this floor

For Shun however information was the key to success, so in terms of that they started to gather some info first before heading out

As they walked around the checkpoint, they received an information for about only two gold from an adventurer

In that he stated that this floor was filled to brim of orcs that are grouped about six per unit

So in order to handle such intense pressure Adventurers tend to form up a team together with other Adventurers as they go out into the fields

When Shun asked whether this orcs were the same as the mob orcs like the green ones, they immediately shook their head in denial as they stated that the orcs have higher stats and their colors were green which depicted that they were higher ones

After hearing that Shun really felt that two gold was not bad take after all, well in case for Sephiria two gold's were merely just a drop of bucket from her Infinite riches as the Duke's daughter

"You know you should really think about your habit of underestimating prices" advised Shun

"And why is that?" Asked Sephiria

"Simple cause if by some chance people took a hold of you and used you as their money bank, the riches that your so proud of right now may go empty with a snap" answered Shun as he snapped his fingers in front of Sephiria's face

"Do you really have to do that?" Asked Sephiria as she felt that Shun was somehow trying to irritate her by snapping continouesly on her face

"Why? This so much fun!" Replied Shun

Hearing that Sephiria tried to retaliate by snapping her fingers infront of his face, unfortunately she was really inexperienced on this part as she don't know how to snap at all and produce a sharp sound of snapping

Seeing that Shun himself started to laugh from her predicament while the latter herself punched him on his arm for embarrassing herself

"Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!" Exclaimed Sephiria

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Your punches are as soft as a pillow" teased Shun

"What? Are you saying I can't punch properly?"

"Somewhere along that line"

The moment Shun said that Sephiria became even more agitated as she punched him furiously like an agitated child

If one were to see this they would think that both of them were trying to showoff by flirting at the middle of the street

After that they decided to form up a team with other Adventurers to ease their scoping perspective since the enemy would fight in groups this time

For quite sometime of searching they finally were able to find a group who were exactly looking for both a guard and a mage I their party

A group of four Adventurers that they partnered with, but for some reason Shun himself felt agitated as he felt that this group was somehow quite irritating him more than the self proclaimed hero back at the surface

"Hey! Welcome! This is my party, I'm Eric and the others are Hela, Maine, and Ashley" greeted by the guy named Eric

"Hey I'm Shun and this is Sephiria" greeted Shun with a dark tone, while Sephiria greeted with a bow

Firstly Eric was a swordman of the his own party and the only sole male of his own party too

Hela was an healer on their team as and one of the woman in his party

Maine was a female berserker of their team

As for Ashley she was no doubt another mage

Even though this line up was so bad as the group has 1 swordman, 1 berserker, 1 healer, 2 mage, and 1 summoner

If Shun could've rate this team, he would really rate it as low as he can by mainly two reasons first was that this team was unbalanced as they don't have any adc damage dealer, while the second was that the party consisted of one male and three females

Coincidentally this party of four were flirting with each other which proved his point that the guy was aiming for a harem route

What more their chest were cup B, C, and D perspectively, Hela has D cup, Maine has C cup, while Ashley has B cup

In the end Shun really eyed the swordman as he seemed not to be flustered at all and tried to flirt back at them while holding them on their waste

The only reason that they made Shun joined their team was that Sephiria requested it

That's right Sephiria was the one offered by Eric to join them, with that in thought Shun concluded that the guy must have been attracted to the cheeky, attractive Sephiria

"This son of a bitch! Don't you dare make a move on her or else I'll break your every finger nails" muttered Shun silently under his breath

To prove his point during the travel, the girls deliberately got in between shun and Sephiria as they separated them from each other, giving Eric some space to converse with Sephiria and try to attract her

Coincidentally to make it even the three girls that are at the same age as both him and Sephiria converse with him as they talked to each other out but it is in the zone of friendly talk or companion talk, quite opposite of their flirty talk with the swordsman

For quite sometime he could see that Eric was really flirting with Sephiria, at some point he tried to put his arm over her shoulders to get comfortable, surprisingly she immediately ducked away as she dodged that approach which made their situation a little bit awkward

"Atta girl! You make me so proud" muttered Shun as he saw how Sephiria rejected that kind of approach

Afterwards Eric laughed it off as he tried to fix the awkward situation

As for Shun he was really busy trying to listen to the blatant one sided talk with the three girls as they proudly talked about Eric's achievements

Of course when the fight broke out agianst the enemy orc unit, Eric would then try to get Sephiria's attention by showing off his skills infront of her while fighting the orcs while at the same time protecting him

As for Shun he was assigned as a guard for the both Ashley and Hela at the back which really separated him from Sephiria by making Sephiria come closer to Eric while Maine covers fo her

Seeing this Shun held his book inside as he laughed evilly inside his mind

"Hehehehe... . . Go on show off more, just you wait! When it's my time to show off my skills I'll make sure that you will kneel before me as I attract all of your girls from my overpowered skills" muttered Shun as he plans for his revenge

Of course as he said this one orc tried to get him from behind as it hacks down it's axe

Instinctually Shun's body suddenly countered by completely blocking off the attack while killing it in a swift of a moment that the speed of the sword draw of its stormrazor was so fast that it wasn't visible to the naked eye

Surely only Ashley who was regenerating her Mana by going at the back, saw all that happened as Shun easily killed off the orc compared to the struggling swordsman

"What the? How did he?" As she muttered that in surprise, she in turn couldn't comprehend just how Shun was able to do exactly just what he did

As for Shun he finally lost his cool as he turned to his usual behavior when facing an enemy 'serious mode activated'
