Chapter 161: Chaotic Event VI

With his back against the wall or better yet back against the barrier, Asmodeus then clearly took notice of his two opponents faces and figures as he quickly shotted forward in just a single step and started engaging combat towards the both Merlin and Sephiria while also casting numerous spells along the way

"Great Death Enhancing Magic Ashborne!!!"

"Self Sacrificing Magic Bloodtrail!!!"

"Support Casting Magic Orb Chasers!!!"

With three spells with varying effects to its caster, which all supports its momentum at hand, such spells then proved quite troublesome to both Merlin and Sephiria as they try to take down their opponent as fast as they can

With Ashborne spell Asmodeus Death scythe would then be enhanced near the realm of the demonized weapon, as each strike it does would deal a significant amount of burst damage  to its victim no matter how tough one person may be whenever they got hit by its blades, thus in other words one hit from it no matter how miniscule could literally lead to death

With Bloodtrail spell Asmodeus would then gradually destroy his body by each passing second in exchange for  an increasing strength by each passing second, but since his death scythe would literally absorb any damage his body has taken per every passing minute in order to form a strong and impactful counter attack, such a spell would literally bring him no harm

With Ord Chasers spell Asmodeus speed would then surpass the limit of a human limit speed for about 6 times in the presence of six orbs surrounding him, with each orb representing times of his speed increment, the only thing that could topple his speed down would be destroying the orbs surrounding him

At the presence of such troublesome spells, it wouldn't be an exaggeration that even with Merlin and Sephiria combined, not one of them could literally bring Asmodeus down

Due to that circumstances, Merlin then tried to distance himself away from Asmodeus as far away as he can while under the cover barrage of Sephiria, during this time he would then try to cast some spells the both of them to even the battlefield between the two sides

But who would've imagined that by the time Merlin thought of such schemes to foil Asmodeus plans, the person himself would actually focus his  attention towards him as he appeared right before him and struck him down with his scythe, due to that Merlin had no choice but to cancel his planned spell and block the attack with his own staff

Unfortunately the scythe was greatly enhanced by Asmodeus spell causing Merlin to get blown away despite defending himself and crash toward the building behind Sephiria herself

After dealing with the Merlin himself, Asmodeus then suddenly arrived before Sephiria with great speed as he launched an attack at all three sides towards her in a single breath

But Sephiria herself immediately took action when she noticed Merlin getting blown away as she instantly encased herself with a 5 multi-layered barrier spell, while also launching a decisive counterattack while her barrier is still up

"Ice Case Barrier!!!"

"Compressed Glacial Bullets-100 bits!!!"

After successfully defending herself in time, Sephiria then casted a spell as she attacked on all sides to narrow down Asmodeus location with the speed he is going

Due to that numerous bullets actually managed to hit Asmodeus on his shoulder, arm, leg, and side stomach despite him completely moving around at an extremely high speed, but due to his scythe unique skill or trait, his injuries that was done unto him actually disappeared at the next instant that he got shot, thus making the fact that the previous assaults' was totally useless against him

Despite failing to actually deal a lethal damage unto Asmodeus despite her own effort, Sephiria then prepared to launch another barrage of spells towards Asmodeus, while the latter bid his time to deal a lethal counterattack

With an impressive speed and mana manipulation, she then started triple casting in a single breath as she tries to guess where Asmodeus is currently located, but since she couldn't get ahold of his exact location in that short instant, she then let go of her reins as she blasted everything around her with her own magic

"Compressed Glacial Bombs-200 bits!!!"

"Ice Empress Throne!!!"

"Frost Nova!!!"

Taking the consideration that Shun was actually within her enclosed Barrier, Sephiria then totally destroyed her surroundings with her triple AOE spell which completely changed the terrain everything around her for about 2 kilometers

Due to her spells rampage, both Darius and Garen who were at the side and bidding their time to heal themselves were actually got done in as they got caught from the destruction that Sephiria had caused with her own spell

Since two tanks got done in by that destructive combo of spell, Asmodeus on the other hand didn't bid any better as he got caught from that destruction, which completely engulfed his whole body

After 30 seconds, Sephiria's AOE spells finally dispersed into nothingness as the destruction everywhere can be seen just from the aftermath of her attack

Panting heavily from exhaustion, especially to the fact that she used a lot of mana in this fight, Sephiria then glanced around at her surroundings trying to catch a glimpse of her enemy's silhouette, while her hair was completely disheveled and covered her eyes from the battle that happened all around her

Being wary of her surroundings, Sephiria didn't let her guard down at all as she looked all around while taking a glance towards shun who got his huge injury covered in frozen ice to stop his bleeding and prevent blood loss

But due to that short instant which took her attention away from her opponent, Asmodeus then came swooping in as he got his injuries all healed up and swung his scythe while delivering an impactful blow unto his surroundings

"Counterstrike!!!"

In a one full 360 full swing of his scythe, Asmodeus attack completely decimated the whole area once more as Sephiria's barrier got done in an instant causing her to get slashed across her body and fall down to the ground in that one counter 

Alongside that, this time Asmodeus finally got rid of the barrier surrounding the building which housed the kingdom's national treasure in his second attempt of his swing, since the barrier is gone, Asmodeus was then free to go and claim his prize

Completely ignoring Sephiria which gave him trouble for quite some time due to her bombardment of spells, he then left her alone lying down next to Shun who also fell victim from Asmodeus counter

forcing a few words out as blood filled her throat, Sephiria then tried to reach out her arm towards Asmodeus as if she couldn't accept her defeat and muttered out her words before falling silent

""Don't... turn your... back on... me..."

With that the first battle in the Kingdom of Avalon finally concluded
