The First Day

I woke up but did not want to open my eyes or move from the position I was in. I felt like I was surrounded by warmth and just wanted to burrow farther into the blankets and body that was holding me... wait body? I flung my eyes open and instantly recognized Jimin's room, quickly remembering the events of last night. I brought my wrist to my face so I could check my watch, moving slowly to try and not wake up Jimin. It was 7am. I let out a soft sigh and craned my neck to try and get a glimpse of Jimin who was curled up around my back. I only saw the fluff that was his hair, before feeling his arms tighten more around my stomach. I froze hearing him mumble something before he released me and rolled onto his back. I felt my mouth curve upward as I gazed at Jimin and watched his breathing even back out. How can someone just be so incredibly breath taking?

I shook my head to myself, before moving closer to him, propping myself up so that I could gaze down on his face. I brought my face down and landed a very gentle kiss on his lips because I didn't want to wake him up. I moved gently away and off the bed to go get changed so that I could hit the gym before the start of the day. I walked into the bathroom, not noticing that Jimin's eyes had opened, and his fingers grazed his lips before flipping over and burying his face into his pillow not believing that I had kissed him.

I changed quickly and made my way down to the gym, setting my alarm for 8:15am, giving myself an hour to workout. I started with a gentle jog before going into a run and then lifted weights, working my arms and shoulders. I didn't want to make them feel too much like Jello but I needed to work off my nerves. This was going to be my first job since getting my freedom. I worked out for an hour ending it all with a light stretch before feeling my smartwatch alarm going off on my wrist to let me know I needed to shower and get ready for work. I smiled to myself because this was going to the best job ever!

I ran up the stairs and into my room noticing people milling about already in the kitchen, causing me to hesitate in my doorway before shaking my head and telling myself I will see them after I get ready. I noticed the shower had already been used so knew Jimin was already up. I did my daily routine, got dressed and settled in front of my mirror to do my makeup. I went light and natural with a little extra accentuation of the eyes. I slipped on the little heeled booties and did a little twirl in the mirror checking myself out.

I did a little dance because I was happy with how I looked and boogied my way down the hallway before getting tackled from behind by Kookie. I squeaked but managed to keep my footing, as his arms snaked around my waist, and he walked in step with me with his head buried in my neck. I ruffled his hair as I walked into the pantry. I grabbed the protein powder I had picked up while I was out shopping and got my shaker cup and went to the fridge for my soy milk to mix it with. All the while I still had a Kookie glued to me.

"Kookie, you want to have a protein shake with me?" I asked shaking my shoulder to get him to lift his head. He finally detached himself from me and picked up my protein powder to read over the nutrition information and ingredients. I poured the soy milk into the cup and took the powder from Kookie, scooped out and poured the powder into the milk and then handed the closed protein container back to Kookie. I looked around at everyone else milling about but didn't see Yoongi up yet. I shook my cup thinking about being the one to wake him up, before noticing Kookie's hand stretched out to me. I looked over the contents in the cup making sure it had mixed well before handing it to Kookie. I turned and walked down the hallway to hunt down Yoongi.
