OK, so the Olympics in the ending of the manga take place in 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.
This WOULD HAVE LINED UP WITH LAST YEAR but COVID happened. Now the opening of the Tokyo Olympics opening is on Friday 7/23/21 at 7:30 EST.
NOW IT ALL LINES UP WITH THE STORY AND WHOEVER WINS BETWEEN ARGENTINA AND JAPAN (for me personally) WOULD HAVE WON IN THE MANGA.
