"So?" Alaine's voice pierced through Cole's ears as he walked in the door.

"I didn't get her," he murmured.

"How did you not get her? The plan was so facile. You ordered the room service right?" she asked.

"Oui,"  he answered.

"And you put the poison in the food and offered it to her right?" she gritted her teeth.

"Oui," he groaned.

"So then what's the issue!" she yelled.

"What was I supposed to do? Shove the food down her throat!" he yelled back.

"Can you guys shut up for once!" I screamed.

I had had about enough of Alaine and Cole. Their arguing was causing the vein in my neck to pop daily.

Before I could get a response I took a cap and put it on my head, quickly stepping outside and walking away from the house.

I looked around the city of Seattle. I tried to clear my mind as I observed the people around me. I walked past a café and spotted a couple in the window. They were sitting peacefully, drinking coffee and just looking into each other's eyes.

"That could've been Kelly and I," I thought.

I missed Kelly terribly. She was everything I wanted. I always wonder what it would've been like if things were different. If I didn't have to to do this. If I was still her bodyguard. If I was still her lover.

I shrugged and continued walking. I stopped by the flower shop and looked around the bouquets. I remembered that Kelly told me she liked daffodils.

"Excuse me sir," an old man called from the counter.

I turned around, keeping my head down.

"Yeah?" I answered lowly.

"Do you perhaps need help picking out flowers?" he asked.

"No I'm good. Just looking," I coughed.

"Oh well alright. I hope you do come back to buy some and I do hope whoever you give them to will love them," I heard his voice crack at the end. I felt terrible. I couldn't leave the store empty handed.

"Actually I'll buy something," I chimed and picked up a small bouquet of daffodils.

I approached the counter, still keeping my head down and placed the bouquet on the table.

"So who's the special someone?" he asked as he wrapped up the flowers.

"Tryna win back my ex girlfriend," I hummed.

"Oh. Well I hope these are enough for her to take you back," he stated.

"Thank you," I murmured and was on my way. I decided to give the flowers to a homeless lady I saw, along with $10.

"Some soul redemption," I thought.

I reached the house once again and saw Alaine and Cole sitting by his laptop.

"We've been breached. Time for a new plan," Alaine ordered.
