I was in my room, looking over the files for Maison Blanche vers le bas. I couldn't really tell much of a difference from the information in the file from the information in the USB that I obtained. They were very hush hush about this, they didn't even mention who was on the assignment or what it entails, just continuous "continue with instruction" statements which basically meant they were winging it. It was so frustrating. What were these guys planning?

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by my phone ringing.

"Hey Alaine," I answered.

"Hey Kelly!" she basically cheered through the phone.

"Someone's happy," I chuckled.

"Yeah I just found out I'm valedictorian of my class! I'm so happy!" she squealed.

"Oh congratulations Alaine! That's great," I smiled. I was genuinely happy for her.

"We have to celebrate this. Are you free to come over in about two hours? We can meet at my place. I'm renting this apartment while I'm staying here. Plus I actually leave tomorrow so of course I wanna see you before I go," I could practically hear her pouting through the phone.

"Yeah sure. Shouldn't be a problem," I agreed.

"Great, I'll see you then!" she hung up.

Maybe it was a good thing for me to go see Alaine. I needed to get over this craziness I had been experiencing over the past couple weeks.
