"C'mon bachha, we need to get going otherwise we'll be late." Jiya happily chirps earning a groan from a sleepy Pari. It was Parent's Teacher's Meeting in Pari's school and she was dead excited to go to the school today. It was always Shipra attending the PTM with her but this time it was special. It would be her mom attending the PTM. And, something extra special was that Jiya had promised Pari that she would convince Samarth too. The thing was she still didn't know how.

Bachha- dear

"Good morning, Jiya Mamma." Pari gave a glimpse of her pearly white milky teeth when she smiled. "Morning, bachha." Jiya smiled. "You have to get ready soon. Come, let's brush your teeth." Jiya signaled for her to come to her. Pari got off the bed. "Mamma, is Papa gonna come?" "Uhmm---hmm---I mean, yes, why not?" Jiya stammered 'cause she hadn't still convinced him for this.

"Brushy brush khatam, now take a bath and Maa will get you ready. Theek hai na, Maa?" Jiya questioned Shipra who was standing just there and Shipra nodded with a smile. "Chalo, ye toh ho gaya, ab bass ek kaam karna hai, uss Sanki Saxena ko manana hai." She whispered to herself before exiting the room.

Khatam- finished
Theek hai na Maa?- Is it okay Mom?

Chalo, ye toh ho gaya, ab bass ek kaam karna hai, uss Sanki Saxena ko manana hai.- Okay, this is done, now only one task is remaining. I have to convince that Mental Saxena.

"Good morning!" Jiya squealed in happiness as soon as she entered the room making Samarth look up from his Ipad. "Hmm." He nodded blankly and went back to work. Jiya made a face but then smiled and approached. "C'mon, get ready, soon." Jiya instructed him, the smile not leaving her face. "For what?" He questioned, his eyes still glued to the screen. "Hmm?" Jiya hummed nervously. "Ready for what?" His tone slightly raised but he still wasn't looking at her.

"We are going to Pari's school." Jiya made a statement. "Until and unless, some kid or teacher has bullied her, we are not." Samarth said dismissively making Jiya frown. "Arey, kaise Papa hain aap?" Her tone raised and it reflected her annoyance and frustration. Samarth glared at her. "I mean, Pari bachha ka bahut mann hai ki uske Mamma Papa saath mein uske school ka PTM attend karein." Jiya's voice turned back to the sweet one.

Translation(s):

Arey, kaise Papa hain aap?- What kinda father are you?

Pari bachha ka bahut mann hai ki uske Mamma Papa saath mein uske school ka PTM attend karein.- She

"Oh---toh?" Samarth questioned. "Toh? I as her Mamma am going. Now, you as her Papa should go too." Jiya said as if she was talking to a small boy. "Is that a rule?" He asked, irritated. "It's PTM for a reason." Jiya rolled her eyes. "Stop rolling your eyes." Samarth yelled. "Then stop acting like a jerk." Jiya retorted.

Translation(s):
Toh?- So?

"Fine! See, you love Pari more than your own life. Then why don't you succumb to such a decent demand of hers?" Jiya really wanted to know what was stopping him. "I--I--It's just that, I don't wanna." Samarth got off the bed and straightened himself moving towards the cupboard to grab his towel. "Wait, you can't just dismiss this topic. It's important. I want to know." Jiya stopped him from going any further.

"What do you wanna know?" He was very much annoyed at the topic of discussion. "Why don't you attend PTM in your lovely daughter's school? I wanna know the reason behind this." Jiya voiced out. Samarth sighs. "I had always wished to attend the PTM with Mihika and not anyone else. When she died----I didn't wanna go there in the first place. Seeing other couples there, I knew, neither would I be able to control myself nor Pari's tears." Jiya could sense that he was on the verge of breaking.
