Chapter 16

The next morning, Shuhua was bombarded with so many questions by Minnie.

Well the Thai was already wondering of where did their youngest go last night. Minnie and Yuqi were already asleep when Shuhua arrived back last night.

Shuhua keeps her phone close to her ear, listening to Tzuyu rant to her about how she's having a difficult time. She can hear Sana's voice from the background yelling 'Tzuyu go take a bath.'

"You should listen to your girlfriend Yoda." Shuhua stepped foot inside the usual cafe.

"So where's your girlfriend?" Shuhua frowned clearly not getting what Seulgi was implying. She was immediately asked with something that is not even close to reality. "Girlfriend?" Shuhua cluelessly asks. She has no idea at all of what Seulgi is saying right now.

"Ryujin." Seulgi simply said, sitting right in front of Shuhua. The Taiwanese shakes her with but there was a smile on her face. "She isn't my girlfriend unnie." Shuhua said but the smile on her lips tells Seulgi otherwise.

"How's your own love life?" Shuhua decided to be the one to interrogate the older woman since she's been dying to know about it. She saw Seulgi coming out of the Dean's office with a wide smile this morning, she even witnessed how the older woman was skipping.

"Nothing much." Seulgi shrugs her shoulder but Shuhua wasn't satisfied with it. The younger woman shot Seulgi a very judgemental gaze but Seulgi just shrugs it off. "Oh yeah by the way, I'm hosting a housewarming party tonight. I moved into a much bigger space last month but I haven't really had the time to have a housewarming party." Seulgi leaned her back onto her seat.

"Count me in and of course the others."

Soojin spotted Shuhua inside the library with a cup of coffee beside her. She was just about to return some books that Soyeon had asked her to. She was contemplating whether she should approach the younger one or she should just go straight out of the library.

She bites her lower lip, fiddling with her fingers as she takes a step forward and started walking to where the Taiwanese national was.

Shuhua looks up clearly noticing that there was someone right in front of her. Soojin smiles hiding her hands behind her back. "Can I sit here with you?" Soojin calmly asks.

"You don't have to ask but of course you can." Shuhua answered. She closes the book that she was reading. "You're clearly not here to study." Shuhua added completely putting her book down.

Soojin felt quite uneasy under Shuhua's gaze that she avoided the younger one's eyes. "Soyeon just asked me to return some of the books that she borrowed last week." Soojin reasons out which Shuhua believes.

Shuhua is the type of person who always tends to stare on someone or even in anything that her eyes sets upon on although she doesn't have any intentions of making the others feel uncomfortable of her stares.

"Oh is that so?" Shuhua leaned her back comfortably onto the chair, her hands placed on the table. Soojin look at Shuhua.

The two were like having a staring contest. Soojin doesn't really have any particular reason on why she approached Shuhua in the first place. No words were exchanged as they stare at each other.
