Chapter 30

'Shuhua?'

Soyeon stopped walking, her eyes squinting making sure that she's not seeing it wrong at all. Because it is indeed Shuhua.

'So she's back.' Soyeon's eyes darted on the girl that Shuhua was hugging. She was just on her way to the campus, luckily she doesn't have any early morning class today and the only thing that she had dealt the moment she opened her eyes this morning was explaining to her beloved girlfriend why she's still at her apartment.

She was lost in thoughts.

'Should I just leave or walk up to them?'

"Sorry for staining your coat with my tears." Ryujin apologized as she wipes her own tears. "It's fine." Shuhua assured the girl trying to be calm as ever.

Ryujin  became silent like she was calming her heartstrings, preventing herself from crying even more. This is one of the reasons why she didn't want to confess to anyone.

There was no assurance because of course you won't know if the other have the same feelings as you do also, if you don't confess. Even if it will hurt her more she still decided to ask Shuhua a question before leaving.

"When did you realize you were in love?" Ryujin asks her eyes were very vulnerable and even if Shuhua was stopping herself from answering so she won't hurt Ryujin more.

Shuhua noticed the determination on Ryujin's face like she really wanted to know.

"To be honest with you." Shuhua's voice trailed down as she looks at the sky. Today wasn't very hot it was rather cloudy.

"I wasn't even aware that I was in love with her."

Shuhua finished her words as she glance at Ryujin, a gentle look on her face as she smiles at Ryujin.

"Thank you Shuhua." even tho Shuhua didn't completely understood why Ryujin thanked she still gave a warm smile to the girl as she watch Ryujin go.

"Seulgi unnie was right." Shuhua mumbles to herself, remembering how Seulgi was making her believe about how Ryujin sees her. Seulgi was indeed right about Ryujin.

"Welcome back." Shuhua almost screamed as she clutch onto her shirt breathing heavily. She was completely off guarded and startled by the girl's presence.

"S-oyeon unnie." Shuhua stuttered, eyes nervously looking somewhere else. She felt like a storm was about to come her way, she wasn't even looking at Soyeon eye to eye but she can feel the older ones eyes staring at her.

"Glad you're back. Soojin misses you a lot." the way those words rolled out of Soyeon's tongue gives Shuhua the sign that a storm isn't on its way. She finally looked at Soyeon and the older was smiling at her.

"I got to go, I still have to meet the others." But before Soyeon could go, Shuhua was quick enough to stop the girl from leaving. "Unnie can you not tell anyone yet that I'm back." It was a favor and Soyeon was aware of it.

There wasn't any emotion on Soyeon's face. Soyeon actually wanted to ask when did Shuhua actually arrived and why did Shuhua didn't inform any of them about her arrival but she held back seeing a certain kind of emotion in Shuhua's eyes.

"Okay." Shuhua sighed in relief.

"Please don't hurt Soojin." it was the last thing that Shuhua heard from Soyeon.
