Chapter 25

[Taichu Private Hospital, Taipei Taiwan 10:00 am]

Day 01

The hallway was clear, only a few nurses passing by checking every patient that were admitted.

"Are you sure?" Tzuyu asks making sure that she didn't heard it wrong. "Auntie is probably inside Henry's room by this time." Tzuyu added as they enter the elevator.

"Since when was Henry admitted here exactly?" There was only seriousness on Shuhua's voice.

Even if she doesn't know where the hell her mother got Henry, she have always been taking care of him without him even knowing about it.

"Two days ago."

Tzuyu was the one who went to open the door and just as expected Ms. Yeh was indeed inside looking after Henry. "Auntie." Tzuyu called out, closing the door behind her. Shuhua was silently standing beside Tzuyu as if she was reading the whole room.

Her eyes fell down on her brother's unconscious state. She doesn't want to blame anyone right now. She just want Henry to recover.

"You shouldn't be here." it wasn't a harsh comment coming from her mother not at all, her face shows a look of worry. "I can't just continue moving forward knowing that he's not okay especially you." it was the same cold tone Shuhua has even before.

"Is there any progress on the case?" Shuhua asks as she walks closer to them. Behind her cold demeanor in front of her mother, there was no doubt that she was extremely worried and anxious.

"The police are already on the move." Ms. Yeh's voice was unexpectedly shaking.

"I'll go buy some coffee." Tzuyu sensed that it's time for Shuhua to talk to her mother.

[DALE University, South Korea 11:00 am]

Minnie just got out of the Dean's office, taking a look at her wristwatch. "Miyeon's probably waiting." she mumbled to herself, heading straight outside the building to go and fetch her girlfriend.

She haven't got the chance to tell the others about Shuhua going back to Taiwan so she have the whole lunch to tell them that.

For now she have to go and fetch her beloved girlfriend or else she won't see the sun next morning.

Yuqi glance at the empty seat beside her, she's been wondering where Shuhua was and even if she asked Minnie multiple times already. The Thai only said that 'Let's all talk later.' Yuqi groaned as she fished her phone out.

Scrolling through her contacts, she stopped midway seeing Shuhua's contact number.

Before she can even press it, her phone slip out from her hand.

"Song Yuqi." Yuqi looks up looking so terrified hearing her name being called out by their notorious professor. "Pick your phone up before I confiscate that." Yuqi was trembling in fear as she scurries to get her phone from the floor.

There was a very thick silence inside the whole room, no one dares to break it as they were all afraid of their professor.

Yuqi heaved a deep sigh as she keeps her phone inside her pocket completely forgotten about the idea of sending Shuhua a message.

Minnie and Miyeon walk along the hallway hand in hand as they exchange small talks but the couple stopped in their tracks.

There was a visible frown on Minnie's face but she tried to keep her cool. Her girlfriend was almost crushing the bones of her hand. "Uh love take it easy." Miyeon immediately let go of Minnie's hand as she checks her girlfriend's hand feeling bad about it.
