You woke up and smiled to yourself, remembering it was your girlfriend Wanda's birthday.
For months, you've been planning a surprise birthday party for her. You wanted it to be perfect and special for her so she knows how grateful you were for her.
Turning over, you saw her wide awake playing with her powers.
"Good morning." She smiled.
"Morning. You seem exceptionally happy today." You said.
"Well, it is a special day." Wanda continued to grin.
"It is?" You furrowed your eyebrows, lying.
Wanda looked at you with sad eyes for a moment, then looked down at the bed.
It broke your heart that you had to hide this from her, but this surprise needed to work.
"I'm going to go take a shower, Wands. I'll you later." You half-smiled.
She slightly nodded and you planted a kiss on her head, then grabbed your phone and snuck off into the bathroom.
Once you had locked the door, you called Natasha.
"Someone's up nice and early this morning." Nat joked.
"You're up too, you know." You rolled your eyes.
"I know, I'm kidding. Do you want me to gather everyone up and have them get started out back?" Natasha suggested.
"Perfect. Everyone can start setting up the party, but I want Steve to set up the training room for her and train her so we'll have all day to set up." You explained.
"Sounds good, I'll get everyone up and in their places. See you in a minute."
"See you."
The two hung up and Wanda knocked on the door, causing you to jump and drop your phone.
"Y/N, who are you talking to?" Wanda asked.
"No one!" You lied. "I was just about to get in the shower."
"Uh, okay. I'm going to go use a different shower. See you soon, darling."
"See you soon, Wands."
You then heard her footsteps become distant and distant until they were completely gone.
Letting out a sigh, you texted Natasha that Wanda was going to take a shower.
You then got in the shower and washed yourself, then got dressed in a simple outfit just to set up.
Once you were finished with that, you went to the training room.
"Hey, Steve." You stepped inside.
Looking around, you saw that Wanda wasn't there yet.
"What's goin' on, Y/N? Setting up for the party?" Steve asked.
