Chapter 11: The rescue mission
By nightfall, the city of Asakusa was a very bright place with many visitors and villagers coming out at night. They were all gathering peacefully not knowing that not far from them holds the most important item in mankind's history. Tanjiro is leading the main force in the corp to secure this crucial items and said person to be holding it from falling into the hands of the enemies. Right behind him are the six pillars of the corp:
Thunder Hashira: Zenitsu Agatsuma
Beast Hashira: Hashibira Inosuke
Flower Hashira: Tsuyuri Kanao
Water Hashira: Kanzaki Aoi
Elites Marksman: Shinazugawa Genya
Fire Hashira: Kamado Nezuko
The top most skilled swordsman in the corp lead by non other than the demon king, dubbed by his dead nemesis, Kamado Tanjiro.
They went into the back alleyway in between the houses. At the end of the alleyway was seeming to be a mere dead end. But Tanjiro kept on walking and phased through the wall in front of him. The pillars hesitated at first but soon followed him. Inside was a huge garden area with trees growing and in the centre of it was a house.
As they all formed a line, they marched their way to the doorway. Tanjiro lift a fist in the air signalling for them to stop. His instinct is telling him something was not right. He tells them to retreat whilst he proceeds to enter the house.
"What had happened here?" He thought
*crack*
"Yushiro san. Is that you?" He said aloud
Suddenly, he felt that something was pulling on him. A string on the floor. A trap perhaps? He yank the string on his feet and sure enough, a barrel came swinging down from the second floor through the stairwell nearly missing him and broke open the front door. This is the house for sure.
"Yushiro san! Come out! Its me! Tanjiro!" He yelled
"And how do i know you aren't disguising as him?!" A voice came into his head
"You don't! When we were calling, i was captured by the corp! They've found me. If you don't believe me then, take a look outside the window."
After a few tense seconds, a sound of a ladder coming down from the attic was heard. A figure showed up with a the same piece of paper with an eye symbol on it. Tanjiro looked at the distressed man with a sigh of relief.
"Yushiro san. Thank goodness you're safe."
"Where is she?! Where did they took her?!" Yushiro losing his patience
"Yushiro san. Calm down. We will find her." Tanjiro tried to calm him down
"I just can't lose her! I just can't! Not for the second time." He started to cry
"Yushiro san. Focus. We need to get you out of here. Do you have any idea where they went?" Tanjiro questioned him
"Sob, no. They just took her while i was upstairs. The next thing i saw was the door wide open and foot prints riddled the entire room."
"Is there anything that could help us? In any way or form?"
"Well i can't say for sure. But they sure are dumb because they took her but not this."
He pulled out a small vial containing a blue liquid. Tanjiro didn't know what it is despite knowing it was probably important.
Tanjiro: "Urm, what is this liquid?"
