Chapter 20: The battle of the east
"Tch, these two really are a pain in the ass."
"Aww, is that a compliment Uzui san?"
"T-this is really beyond us. T-they're t-too strong!"
"Come on Hinitsu! Lets go!"
"How pathetic, just die already humans!"
On the east side of Japan, it was a three versus two battle between humanity and demons. The trio pillar and former pillar are having difficult times even though they have the higher number advantage. The two demons they're up against seems to be lovers and with both working together hinders their progress to get rid of the demons.
"You pesky humans! Die!"
"Don't get too stressed out dear."
"Sound breathing, fifth form: String performance!"
"Beast breathing, fourth fang: Slice 'n' dice!"
"Thunder breathing, first form: Thunderclap and flash! Sixfolds!"
The trio kept on charging in for an attack but the demons always managed to block and attack at the same time pushing them back several times. Nonetheless, they kept on attacking like a barrage and kept on retrieving only to be pushed back once more.
"Just give up you stupid mortals." Said the male with a black and white striped haori
"Who says you're different huh?" Uzui sarcastically said
"You're nothing more than lowly humans who eats other humans just for fun." Zenitsu said
"That's a rather crude way of saying it. Would you like a second opinion?" Mitsuri suggested
"Here's my opinion you dumb bitch! Go to hell already!" Inosuke shouted
"Well then this is where it ends." Obanai said
"Blood demon art: Restricting coil." Obanai
"Blood demon art: Love lust." Mitsuri
"Sound breathing, first form: Roar!" Uzui
"Beast breathing, second fang: Slice!" Inosuke
"Thunder breathing, first form: Thunderclap and flash!" Zenitsu
With the barrage of attacks kept on piling, both sides shows no weakness nor strength as if both were at the same level. Uzui was a shinobi once and he uses something he called, the score. It was his battle plan by analysing the opponent movement and convert them into sound. Just like a well played orchestra, if he found an opening in the song, he can strike it with great effect on the battle. But after constantly going back and forth, they haven't made even a single progress. They group up to think of a plan.
"Alright, this ain't gonna work." Zenitsu said in disappointment
"Well, no wonder. One has a really good offence and the other had the ability to control others body." Uzui stated
"Hey, flashy god. Got any plan?" Inosuke asked
"Of course i do. I have analyse them both and my guess its best to strike them at the back." Uzui concluded
"From the back? And who's responsible for that mammoth task?" Zenitsu reluctantly asked
"Well, i was thinking me and this boar head go and distract distract them while you go strike them."
