It felt like the world around you had stopped. The only thing you were hearing right now was your heartbeat, which was quite loud.
What were you supposed to do? How were you supposed to answer? You didn't want to make Dottore mad, but you couldn't just leave the little girl to die here... God knows what he was planning to do with her.
Dottore taking one more step towards you got you out of your thoughts, as his face seemed rather scary at the moment.
"- I can see that you feel conflicted on the inside, so let me tell you this..." - he spoke rather quietly as he slowly started making his way towards you.
"- I don't care that she's just a child. I wouldn't care if she was all grown up, either. To me, she is nothing more than just a lower life form - my specimen." - The Harbinger spoke dangerously.
You swallowed a lump in your throat.
Dottore's face neared yours, as his crimson eyes stared right through you.
"- Now, be a good little assistant and bring her here." - he spoke in a whisper.
Shortly, he turned around and started approaching his work table, expecting you to do as he ordered.
You were frozen in your place. You couldn't move. Neither you wanted to move.
"- ...No." - you said quietly, but not quite enough for Dottore to not hear you.
"- What did you say?" - turned Dottore as his eyes were once again on you.
"- ...I said no." - you once again repeated yourself, except this time you spoke a bit more loudly.
"- What do you mean 'no'?" - Dottore asked angrily.
You could feel his patience run low as his movements were more sharp and quick.
"- I'm not going to help you to harm that little girl. Let her go..." - you said.
You decided that if you wanted to win something out of this, you needed to play strong. And just like that, you decided to make eye contact with him.
That was the worst idea you've ever had in your entire life.
Suddenly, you felt Dottore snatch you by your wrist as he dragged you to the other side of the room. There stood a medical table. The Harbinger pushed you on it and grabbed the medical scalpel.
To say you were scared would be an understatement. You tried pushing yourself off the table and away from the man, but his grip on your wrist was tight. You were sure it was going to bruise.
"- Let go!" - you shouted.
To your efforts of escaping, Dottore smiled with his sharp teeth, as he neared a medical knife in his right hand to your chin.
"- If you won't bring my next specimen to me, I might as well just use you for my experiment instead." - the man laughed.
You stopped.
Maybe... Just maybe... You could reason with him?
With a shallow exhale, you looked back up at The Harbinger, which seemed quite quizzed at the way you suddenly stopped resisting.
