When somebody predicts that your life is going to be amazing in the future, and it's not, then just know, that they didn't mean your life was going to be rainbows, and faries, and unicorns. They spoke in terms of opportunities. If your life was going to be amazing, it was going to have lots of opportunities for you to pick up. (They obviously didn't know what you were going to choose) So if your life isn't all that good, look for those opportunities. You're going to turn your life around.
