Kalyug Shakti was running through the corridors of gurukul, as she was late for morning prayers, and guruji also wanted to talk to her and Jay about some matter ,afterwards . She had an idea.......what all of this was about, after all lunar eclipse is near. For the past seventeen years she had thought many times, about the wretched day ,which left her orphan.
The lunar eclipse seventeen years ago ,took parents away from one and half year old shakti,while protecting that object.
To take her mind off of these thoughts ,she decided to focus on her surroundings.
Her Gurukul was an amazing place, the students learned from guruji and helped in carrying out daily household chores. It was not only a Gurukul but a community as parents of most of the students also reside in the same area .they were either former students or related to Gurukul in one way or other,they may be workers at Gurukul or beneficiaries.
Students were taught various skills like vedic maths, arts ,yoga, Sanskrit, astrology , science,martial arts like kalaripayattu , sword fighting , hand to hand combat,and many more ,other than Vedas and Granths. On her way ,her eyes fell on students practicing certain skills.

All these skills were necessary for the students of gurukul ,as they were not only students but also protectors of a greater responsibility bestowed upon them by their predecessors and one such warrior was Shakti and her best friend Jay.
Even though their Gurukul followed ancient traditions ,they were also taught modern ways of life and were allowed to good to schools and colleges outside the Gurukul, where they could gain knowledge about English, technologies, etc,one could also pursue a career outside gurukul. In short students were in balance with the life inside and outside of Gurukul.

Jay was waiting outside prayer hall for Shakti for past ten minutes, she was late as usual as it was her habit to get up later than most students of the Gurukul and Guruji had tried to make her get up earlier, but was not successful. Jay smiled at one such memory.Jay and Shakti were best friends and he had known as all his life. He was six months younger than Shakti. His and shakti's parents were friends and primary protectors of that object, after the death of shakti's parents ,his parents along with guruji took care of Shakti, but they also died twelve years back in an accident, After that Shakti and Jay basically had only each other to rely on.
He had to put a stop on his thoughts ,as he saw Shakti running towards him, they went inside the prayer hall together to offer morning prayers and talk to Guruji.
