Hastinapur court was tense to say the least ,the topic of announcing heir was a morbid one ,dividing the court into two,one side was of Mahamahim Bhishma and vidura wanting to make yudhisthira, the Yuvraj and other was ,obviously Dhrtirashtra and Sakuni trying to announce Duryodhana as the yuvraj. Now that the princes have returned after completing their education, it was inevitable topic. As the discussion was going on, guru Droncharya suddenly demanded to be paid his gurudakshina before any announcements regarding the heir.
Dhrtirashtra and Sakuni were happy with such development as it will allow them to postpone the announcement of yuvraj for a while and if Duryodhana comes back from Panchal,after defeating king Drupad, as a winner then they can use it for their profit.
Though Bhisma and vidur tried to argue ,they had to stay silent ,when Arjun himself was ready to perform the task set by his guru.
So finally it was decided that first the war with Panchal King drupad will take place and after that the announcement of heir.

At this moment , pandan entered asking to be given justice. Karna was also escorted by two soldiers,his hands were tied in front of him ,but the sagacious look on his face was something else,it is true that three things could never be kept hidden, the sun ,the moon , the truth and so was the glow on karna face.even the members of the royal court could feel his presence as something unique.
