What are you so scared of Dua? Shayaan asked his wife who was making sure not to have an eye contact with him.
He waited for some time for her to say something but she didn't. For the first time Shayaan felt that his wife wasn't comfortable with his presence.
Dua was looking into a vast space, looking at the stars twinkling in the sky. It was clear, which was very rare for them to see but shayaan could see the building storm in her beautiful hazel eyes.
What seemed like a millennium, his wife's tear laden eyes looked at him and she whispered in a mute crying voice.
I have been hiding myself from the demons from last six years. How I am going to face them now.
As the tears continued to dripping from her eyes, his hold on her got tightened as he himself felt helpless with the genuineness of the situation now.
