"There you go. Take her canoeing, then dinner. And at dinner, do it. She already loves you. If she didn't, she wouldn't still be with you."

"Hey." Tom says, coming back inside from his phone call. "What are you up to?"
"Thinking about what to do for the last couple weeks before Mianite starts. Don't really know yet." I say, staring at my computer screen. "Probably gonna livestream every night."
"I was thinking tomorrow we can go canoeing."
"REALLY?! You want to go canoeing with me? Of all people!?"
"Why wouldn't I?"
