"What about this one?" I asked and held the small pumpkin up. John B shook his head with a grossed out look.
"It's not even round, why do you want that one? It's all lumpy and gross."
"That's rude John, how would you like it if someone said that about you?"
"Y/N, how are we supposed to carve that?"
"Uh with a knife?" I said and he rolled his eyes.
Since John B was so picky, we walked through the pumpkin patch for what seemed like forever. He couldn't find the "perfect" pumpkin, but wouldn't give up and decided it was somewhere in the field.
I ignored John B's complains and decided to carry the "ugly" pumpkin through out the pumpkin patch. John B finally found a nice pumpkin and grabbed it.
"Let's go to the corn maze, please!" I begged and he agreed.
I grabbed his hand and practically dragged him toward the corn maze. We entered holding our pumpkins and walked through the maze. It was pretty easy at first and we found our way around. I kept walking as my hand left John B's. I didn't think anything of it until I realized John B was gone and I was stuck in a corner or the maze.
"John B?" I yelled out, though I heard nothing.
I knew I should've stayed where I was but I started walking through the maze to find him. As I was walking, my back hit someone and I turned to see John B.
"Where did you go?" He asked and I sighed.
"I could ask you the same thing, you were the one who was gone."
"I had to tie my shoes!"
"And you didn't tell me?" He rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand again.
"Let's just make our way through the maze and get back to the chateau. So we can carve your ugly pumpkin."
"Shut up."
A/N- this is absolutely horrible and i'm sorry. I haven't posted in a while and I was meaning to but I've been busy and stuff. I'm also pretty sick right now so, hopefully I get better soon. I promise to have way better imagines coming and I hope to not make you guys wait this long again. And thank you so much for all the love on this book.
