"Oh you guys are boring"

"How are we boring? It's literally 5am" Jules yelled back

"You all are so quiet... WAKE UP" I shook Jules and she acted like she fell asleep "Wh..."

"Y/n will you please be quiet" Leigh walked pass me into the kitchen

"Why are you here?" Leigh turned around to make eye contact with me

"I.. Uh...

"Well.." She leaned up against the counter waiting

"I told Jules I would stop by to see you but I don't know your schedule and you haven't texted me back in a awhile.. If you want me to go I can, I don't wanna start anything so yeah.. Nice to see your okay and um, See you later Jules" I bent over and kissed Jules head then gave her a noogie, messing up her hair

"Wait Y/n" Leigh yelled "You don't have to go. I won't start anything"

"Promise" I grinned at her

"Promise" She nodded back and turned back to the counter

"What ya making?" I walked over to her and peeked over a shoulder

"Nothing.. Now back up" She pushed me with her back so I went to go sit by Jules while Amy came downstairs

"Oh hey Y/n" Amy diverted her path to come kiss my forehead "Came by to hear plans for the day?"

"Sure.. Enlighten me" I chuckled and she pulled out a paper after kissing Jules forehead and taking a seat

"Leigh.. Honey, You have the 7:00 and the 9:15 classes, 9:30 I'm at noon, Uh, Jules you have the evening slots you have group at 8:30. And I have a date with a guy who seems nice but, You know, Kind of boring on eHarmony so let's hope he's nice and kind of interesting in real life... Okay so that's Thursday. Let's go this... Okay?" She looked around while scooping cereal into her mouth

"Did you get all that?" I whispered to Jules

"No I didn't.. Mom, Say all that again?"

"Come on" Amy groaned

"I'm sorry" Jules chuckled "I'm just, like, stupid excited to get my three month chip tonight"

"Mmm, You are a beast" Amy stood up to kiss her forehead "You're kicking this thing in the teeth and we could not be more proud of you.. Could we Leigh and Y/n?"

"Yeah.."

"Everything she said" Me and Leigh said to Amy at the same time

"Aw.. I did not miss that" Amy chuckled and I saw Leigh smile just a tiny bit

"You know, It's just, Like, These last few months everything has been so emotional and stressful, And I could have fallen off the wagon so many time, But... I didn't, I handled it..

"Yet, It really, uh, screwed me up, too, when my husband died..

"That's not what I was saying" Jules said back to Leigh

Leigh turned around from her spot at the sink to point at Jules "Thats exactly what you were saying.. That my husband being dead is making it harder for you to stay sober"

"I wasn't saying it like that...

"You still said it...

"Hey, You. That's enough" Amy calmly yelled to Leigh, stopping it from elevating

"What?" Leigh squinted

"Take a breath" Amy put her hands up in a breathing in motion

"I'm breathing" Leigh said back, Such a smart ass
