"Please don't tell me to shush right now Val" I pointed at her while shaking my head

"I'm still waiting for the reason" Jade yelled, taking a cue from her daughter

"What?" I yelled, realizing and lowering my voice "Sorry, what?"

"Val is right, watch your language, remember the baby"

"Oh.. right, gonna have to get used to that" I laughed "Thanks Leigh, as for you Jade..

"Yeah?" She folded her arms, looking at me dead in the eyes

"I don't hate you, it's just gonna take awhile for me to forgive you"

"I just don't understand what I did" Jade sighed, looking down and walking to sit in the furthest chair from us on the other side of the room

"Mom, Bibi was breaking down, just as they always do without Leigh" Val laughed, standing up and walking to her mom "And to add they didn't sleep for a few days, they were hallucinating, you told them Leigh was gone, that she wasn't HERE anymore"

"Yeah, she wasn't at the house anymore, we couldn't do anything to help her and she was just getting worse being home"

"Mom..." Val shook her head "Bibi thought you meant gone, they thought you meant she died"

"Oh"

"Yeah" Val nodded

"I'm sorry Y/n" Jade said in the most sincere way possible

"It's okay Ja" I smiled, showing her I was at least okay "I was pretty much fine with it when I got here and saw she was okay"

"After nearing punching multiple nurses and doctors, then squeezing me to the point where I couldn't breathe" Leigh laughed for the first time I have been here, I'm glad she isn't letting the fatigue and other things beat her

"Would you blame me?" I shrugged while looking at Leigh "They were trying calm me down, like just tell me where my fricking wife is, I didn't need a calming down, all....

"Okay calm down" Leigh leaned over, grabbing my hand "I can see just talking about it is already upsetting you"

"I'll be fine hun" I smiled, resting my other hand on top of hers

"All of us will be" She squeezed my hand once more than pulled away, rolling back to her original position, staring at Videl sound asleep next to her on the hospital bed "Alright, it's time"

"Alright" I stood up, reaching over, gently picking up Videl and moving her to the crib i sat in here for a hour putting together for her, I don't care if we're in a hospital or not

"So you gonna take that apart when she's ready to leave?" Jade asked

"Obviously" I squinted while shaking my head

"Okay, okay" Leigh sat up a little, waving her hands to me "Your turn"

"But Leig...

"Are you saying no to cuddling? You don't wanna lay next to me?" She pushed out her bottom lip, laying down and folding her arms

"That's not what I'm saying" I shook my head quickly "It's just, shouldn't you be getting some sleep, I see now why Jade insisted I leave and let you heal on your own, without my distraction"
