"Hey there"

"Oh hey to you to"

"You talk to my mom yet?"

"Valentina.. Your mom is my sister, I probably talk to her more then you do" I laughed a little while shaking my head

"I'm surprised honestly, considering you spend a lot of your free time...

"Doing absolutely nothing" I interrupted her with laughter "I have no friends and your mom doesn't count because she's family"

"I'm gonna tell Leigh you said that" She grinned "Oh she's gonna be so pissed"

"I'm sure she'll be okay" I waved off Val then started walking

"How did she react last night? Did you.. you know" Val winked as she nudged me

"I won't be talking about my sex life with my sisters daughter, and second" I looked around "Yes we did" I chuckled, thinking we were still playing since she mentioned a Leigh

"What did her dress look like?" Val asked me

"What is this, a quiz?" I raised a eyebrow, starting to get agitated "Um, Black, obviously"

"It's no quiz" Valentina nodded "Anyway I should get going, mom wanted me home for something, love you Bibi" She waved as she started jogging down the hall, poking someone with laughter as she ran out the door

"Now I have to apologize on your behalf" I shook my head because Val poking random customers as she bolted out of the building isn't exactly great "Hey uh, I'm sorry about that, my niece loves to rough house"

"Oh it's fine" She chuckled as she looked up from checking her phone

"Oh wait" I began to laugh uncontrollably and nervously "you're the uh.. the owners daughter right.. I can't remember your name sorry, but I'm Y/n, I've been working here, for your mom for sometime now. And by sometime I mean six or seven years.. Would've been more but I was blipped, I recognize you from the new pamphlets Emily was handing out and uh.. sorry" I laughed nervously some more "I'm nervous rambling"

"It's fine" She chuckled

"No it's not. I've only just met you and I'm burdening you with my problems...

"It's fine" She reached out, touching my shoulder, giving me big deja vu "Really, there's no need to start panicking"

"Well I...

"I'm Leigh" She interrupted with a warm smile

"Sounds familiar" I joked, feeling a lot more comfortable now suddenly

"Maybe we were friends in another lifetime or something" She laughed

"I thought it was just you look the same not have the same name"

"Probably.. I don't know anything about that stuff" She laughed, starting to walk along side me as if we've done it a hundred times

"Yeah. So uh, Where's your mom?" I asked, retreating back into myself. It's one of the reasons I don't have any friends

"You don't remember? She's on vacation.. in Antarctica, permanently"

"Must've slipped my mind" I forced a laugh which she caught onto "Sorry. Not exactly a people person"

"That's understandable" She grinned for some uh reason "Mind if I join your class? I've been wanting to join for awhile now"

"Or do you wanna just keep an eye on me?" I asked with laughter.. What was I doing?

"Both" She shrugged

"Is this some sort of plan? Is your mom firing me? Is that why she's not here, so she doesn't have to deal with this herself" I raised a eyebrow, starting to clutch my fist
