"Because I'm in the bath?" She questioned
"Precisely" I chuckled as I stood up "I'm gonna go finish getting ready. Will you be okay?"
"I won't drown Y/n" Leigh laughed
"Great" I leaned over, pushing my lips out
Leigh looked up quickly pushing her lips against mine "Same thing tomorrow?"
"I promised didn't I?" I shook my head at her need to ask
Basically a few days ago during the week after I made her that bath since she wanted another one, to which I promised to make her a bath then we go watch the sunrise every morning
Only during workdays of course. She knows she won't be getting me up anytime soon if it's my off day off
Unless it's a day like this.
Date Night..

"You zoned out" She laughed, looking up at me "Go finish getting ready and so I can finish up here"
"I can help you finish" I grinned
"Y/n" She glared up at me "Just go get ready so we can go, I don't wanna be out super late"
"I was actually hoping we could stay out a little later"
"Y/n" Leigh lowered her tone
"Hear me out, hear me out" I put up my hands "I wanted to take you to the movies afterwards, even though my memory was..
"No" Leigh said sternly as she looked away from me and into the water. She really meant it and she wasn't changing her mind

"Just go get ready Y/n" She said, not looking up at me again
"Alright" I nodded
I just wanted us, or more her to have fun but I think this stupid condition has ruined the movies for us
"I'll be out in a few" She assured me
"Sounds good" I turned, heading out the bathroom and back to my room, looking at my clothes neatly sitting on my bed. I was ready hours before but stopped to give Leigh attention, something she doesn't always want and I still give her anyways "I should call Jade" I took a deep breath dialing her number and letting it ring
"What's up buttercup?"
"Weird way to answer the phone but hi Jade" I laughed as it looked like she was in a good mood
"I'm in a good mood" She shrugged "Thanks to Hailee"
"What happened?" I asked
"She basically gave me a Mother's Day. She thanked me for just being her mother basically. Everything from raising her to helping her become a woman"
