"Is she- Is she okay?"

"She's fine Y/n relax"

"Valentina..

"Sorry" Val chuckled while nervously tapping my arm "My Mom and Jules are in there, she's safe"

"Can't I jus...

"No" Val, pushed me back down in the chair "Are we forgetting the reason why you are out here?"

"Right"

I was willing to throw away how I felt. Leigh is my wife and I'd do anything to make that sure she was okay

Leigh has been in the hospital room for almost countless hours now, birthing our daughter and well, she's in complete pain

Jade told Leigh that she would be in a lot pain, being a first time mother and all. I didn't believe it at first but ever since the process started I've had this feeling, a feeling that she wouldn't be okay. Val said the reason I feel uneasy is because I can't do anything to make Leigh feel better, to help take the pain away from her

She also said it's because I'm nervous. I think that was very clear, I almost passed out in the room a few hours ago, a reason why they made me sit out here in the hall with Val and Hailee

"Are you sure? Is she okay?"

"She'll be okay"

"And there you have it" Val laughed after Jules walked out of the room, answering my question as if she heard me

"She's squeezing the hell out of Jades hand but...

"Should I go back in, I can tuff it out" I said, getting out of my seat

"She's fine" Jules assured me by gently pushing me back in my seat "You invited and Jade came for a big reason. You trust her?"

"I trust Jade with my life.. sometimes" I laughed a little

"Then you have to relax, okay?" Jules rubbed my shoulder

"That is practically impossible" I shook my head, starting to bounce my leg to help expunge this feeling from me

"Leigh is strong and you know it"

"Yeah I do. She is" I nodded, feeling some relief in the reassurance of that

"Um hey guys"

"Jade" I looked up, jumping out of my seat "Is...

"She's fine" Jade couldn't help but smile and shake her head, but then pointed at Val "You, can get your Bibi out of here?"

"Wh...

"Why mom?" Val asked

"Because I can practically feel their worry, it's rubbing off on me and I'm trying to stay strong for both of you guys sake. I'm in there by Leigh's side because I have knowledge of this and I know what she's going through, adding to it I'm also in there because my sibling can't do it emotionally. So Val, please PLEASE, take them someplace else where they can't hear all of this, I don't get why you all sat right outside the door"

"Okay mom" Val yelled because Jade kept on pushing and talking, more than likely making Val feel worse and worse "Hey Bibi, do you wanna go get something to eat? That's the only thing I can really think of"

"I...

"You need to eat Y/n" Jade said before I could deny it "You've been here and stressed for hours, go get something to eat, don't starve yourself because you're worried. Think about what mom would say to you right now"

"She probably would've pinched me and told me to go eat something" I chuckled, rubbing my hands together in thought "I guess I could get something to eat"
