"Ohhh wow"

"Hey. I'm still here" Emily smacked my head because I did one of those aggressive stretches and almost hit her

"Sorry about that" I laughed and Emily's tiny self rolled her eyes and went back to picking at the nunchucks I gave her last night "Where's Leigh?"

"I don't know" She shrugged

The immediate thought that showed up in my head was her kicking me out her house but since she was in mine she left. This is big different situation than what happened at the resort

I also can't rush to some things because she lost her husband. Maybe sharing a bed with me and waking up next to me makes her feel bad or I don't know

"Wh...

"I saw her det up earwlier" Emily shrugged again

"Okay" I shrugged to and just decided not to worry about it "What are you doing to the nunchucks Em?"

"I'm putting stickers and stuff on one.. Don't worry I left the other one alone" She held up the nunchucks and one was plain like before, And the other had a few stickers along with some glitter "Now it's both of ours"

"That's really thoughtful Em, but I gave them to you"

"Mommy taught me to repect my elders" She giggled and turned to face me

"I'm not old enough to be called an elder" I laughed. Making Emily laugh with me "Just say you wanted to be nice"

"No. Keep calling them an elder" Leigh busted into the room with a tray

"Why didn't I guess that?" I put my hand over my face. Of course she would want to make me her only known to me thank you breakfast

"You thought I'd just up and leave" She shook her head as she brought the tray over "Also don't worry I made some for everyone. There's might not taste as good though since you think my thank you breakfast is apparently different"

"It's very different" I said to Emily because she was looking confused "Both are still really good though, but when Leigh is happy to thank you for something there is just that extra thing in there"

"I made enough for the three of us to share" Leigh grinned as she walked over to set the tray down

"Yay" Emily giggled as she scooted closer, waiting for one of us to say that she could eat

"So we really are tryna make this kid ours?" I laughed at the funny.. but cute, situation we put ourselves in

"I don't mind" Emily shrugged

"Oh but your mom will" I shook my head as Leigh shoved food into her mouth. She didn't wanna admit anything so I once again wasn't gonna push

"Oh.. Matts comic will be out in a few days. The editor sent me a text this morning. That's what I was sorting out this morning while cooking, they started printing them and all that immediately so they will arrive at our local shop in a few days" She grinned as she looked threw her phone showing me a picture and putting it back into her pocket

"That's great Leigh" I smiled as I nodded then began eating the breakfast. Leigh's small sigh catching me off guard

"Are you sure? I know we had that moment at Palm Springs and we didn't think about anything we just did it and all but...

"I'm fine Leigh" I interrupted her with my hands raised "That really is great. I remember him asking what I thought about a character he wanted to put in it"

"Hm" Leigh nodded then started eating some of the food "So what's the plan for today?"

"It can be whatever. I just need ideas"
