"Hey. Your lookin like a lion today.."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Leigh furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at me confused

"Nothing.." I laughed at her confusion. She really had that face that would make her confused expression make you laugh or say Aw at it "Your hair is just giving off lion vibes, it's looking bushy like a lions mane.. Nevermind"

"No, no, I get what your saying" Leigh laughed while she waved her hand for my attention

"The more I explained it made it sound horrible" I shook my head

"I understood what you meant though Lee. Quit beating yourself up over it"

"I won't.. Thanks Leigh.. Anyway, What's going on today?" I asked her, today was Christmas Eve and I was feeling Christmas spirit which Leigh knows based off my really good mood

"Guess what I have to do today?" She smiled than turned serious

"Something... Not good" I guessed, based off her expression changing. She was really expressive

"Correct" She gave me a thumbs up, trying to act excited

"What do you have to do Ellie?" I asked, trying to hold back my laugh

"Mom scheduled us a "Family Therapy" because of the events that happened that night" She rolled her eyes and sighed "I will be home later though then I'll give you a call"

"Sounds good. While your out and about I'm gonna go pick up your Christmas present" I gave her a thumbs up

"Does that mean you'll give it to me today?" She smiled enough to make her teeth show. She knew I wasn't gonna give it up to her today

"Of course not" I shook my head at her

"It was worth a try" She giggled, brushing a hand through her hair as she peeked away from the camera and sighed "Hey.. I have to go, I'll give you a call once they free me"

"Your being a bit dramatic Leigh but I'll see you later" I waved to her

"Okay.. Love you" She waved quickly than hung up

"Well.. Love you to" I rolled my eyes because she didn't even allow me to say it back "Alright time to finish her present"

I jumped off my couch and moved back to the floor where I had string, those little plastic letter things.. All and all, I was making a little friendship bracelet with my own little touch, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I'm making her a damn friendship bracelet like we're 14 again and to add fuel to the fire, I was taking pointers from my sisters daughter Valentina. She kept reminding me that I needed to make it my own and quit asking her for help, yet she would tell me when it looked stupid

I even got help from the younger kids that I know, which is Emily and my sisters other daughter Hailee. Now they wanted me to make it sparkly so it'll look fancy and all and I agreed

"And.. We're done" I put on the finishing touches then put it in a box I half wrapped

Now I must find something to do while I wait for Leigh to call me

"Maybe" Leigh shrugged at me while her mom stood next to a screaming teapot, completely zoned out as she stared at the kitchen wall "Mom."

Amy snapped back and lightly took the teapot off, pouring some of the water into a cup then setting it down as she sighed
