4 DON'T LEAVE - SUNGHOON

He was there, waiting for you to wake up, sitting on the chair beside you holding your hand lovingly as always. He was looking at your face while he caressed the back of your palm soothingly using his thumbs. He was too busy admiring your angelic face that he didn't notice his tears were slowly streaming down his cheeks. Why did he suddenly burst into tears? What's wrong?

It's been a month since the horrible incident happened to the both of you. Sunghoon had recovered a week after the car accident but then here you are, unconsciously laying on the hospital bed with several wires connected to your body to keep you alive and an oxygen to keep you breathing. The sound of the lifeline machine and his sobs were the only thing can be heard inside the room where you're confined.

"My precious y/n, I miss you so much" he said between his sobs looking at your face. "Please wake up" he added in a quite whisper as a tear fell down on his captivating face.

He then put your hands that he was holding the whole time into his cheeks as he close his eyes. His mind recalled the joyful memories you both did before the accident happened, he remember how he saw the big truck made a very loud impact on your side which is the passenger's seat before both of you fell into unconsciousness. Just recalling that horrible memory made him burst into tears again.

"Sir, we need you to move please"

He heard someone spoke behind him. He turned his head and saw it was the nurse along with two doctors and some other medical teams rushing to the side of the bed. Then he heard something causing his heart to beat rapidly, not knowing what to do.

"Sir, please!"

And that's when he realize the machine turned into a flatline.

nononono

"No, No! Y/N NO!" he yelled, trying to reach for your hand but was stopped by the male nurse holding him back to prevent him from interrupting the doctors' work trying to revive you.

"Y/N! NOOOO!" he cried still trying to escape from the male nurse's grip on both of his arms from the back but it only come to no avail as the nurse was too strong.

"1, 2, 3, Clear!"

The medical team repeatedly said, doing their best to reactivate your body who was giving up and Sunghoon was there crying hardly hoping and praying that your heart will beat again. He can't lose the love of his life, you're too precious for him. What should he do if you ever leave him?

"Time of death, 1:04 AM"

The doctor said looking at his wrist watch as the female nurse behind listed the time on the paper attached on the clipboard.

"What?" he said in a whisper manner as no voice were coming out from his lungs.

"I'm sorry, sir. We did our best but we can't revive her anymore" the doctor said apologetically before leaving him all alone inside the room.

He rush to your side crying really hard as he couldn't put up with the fact that you bid goodbye to your life already.

"No! Y/n, wake up! Stop making me look like a fool! WAKE UP! Y/N NOOOOO!" he cried hugging your cold and lifeless body on the hospital bed. "How about our future now? How should I be able to handle this kind of situation? I thought you said you won't leave me?" he added between his sobs still hugging your dead body.

He couldn't just easily acquire the actuality that you already left for life. His world seems to fall apart not knowing what to do. His heart shattered into million pieces just by looking at your lifeless body. He need to overcome the agony and conquer with the reality that you already left the world and now staying in peace where you can't feel the pain and you have no problem to think.

He despise the specific truth that you left him but he know soon he'll be able to acknowledge the certainty, but even if you weren't physically beside him anymore, you still own a special space inside his heart.

A/N: ok idkw but I'm literally crying while writing this one. Maybe because I remember my best friend who left me last February, two days after Jungwon's 16th birthday. She suffered from kidney cancer last December 2020 and was confined in the hospital during daytime on December 24, 2020. But on the second week of January, when they were still in the hospital, she told her mom that she wanna go home because she said that staying in the hospital won't save her from the situation she's suffering and so after three weeks of staying in their home she felt free. But this day came where I was still sleeping, I heard my mom talking with someone and what made me jump out of my bed is when she said "what?! she's dead?!" I immediately went out of my room and asked my mom if who is it and she answered "You're bestfriend left you for life this 5 in the morning" and I was like "WHAT?!" and that's when I remember that I dreamt of her at night saying that she'll leave me for good while hugging me and I was crying.

Okay sorry for being too dramatic but losing a special person in your life is really hard, specially when you both spend bunch of joyful memories.

Oh yeah I'm really sorry for the long dramatic message hehe.
