chapter 17 - Stuck with you

Ashley's eyebrows furrowed when she felt her body swaying. She lazily opened her eyes and saw Joanne trying to walk Collier up.

"Miss Villers, we have arrived," Joanne said, trying to wake Collier up.

Ashley sighed. She can't can't believe Collier was such a deep sleeper.

Ashley smiled, "You guys go on first. I'll meet you guys inside the hotel."

Joanne nodded and shyly walked away.

Ashley turned towards the adorable baby sleeping on her shoulder. She could believe that even when she removed her head from Collier's shoulder, the latter would still manage to sleep soundly.

"Collier?" Ashley called softly.

The other person was still asleep and didn't move an inch.

"Babe?" Ashley called again.

"Yes?" Collier lazily answered, still asleep.

Ashley was surprised. She never thought calling Collier babe would wake the latter up. Ashley felt her heart aching. Did Collier have a lover? It couldn't be her anyway. They were only in a fake relationship.

"Babe? Do you know who I am?" Ashley asked again, her heart trembled.

"My babe, Ashley Kay of course, why?" Collier steadied her body, head no longer lying on Ashley's shoulder.

Ashley looked at Collier, then they suddenly locked eyes. Ashley couldn't describe this feeling. Collier's eyes staring at her made her heart beating faster than before. Slowly, Ashley didn't know whether her mind was playing games with her or not, but she felt Collier's soft lips against hers. It made her heart go wild, beating faster than Usain Bolt.

"Of course I love you," Collier smiled softly, her eyes filled with gentleness.

Ashley was in a daze.

"Let's go," Collier said as she stood up.

Ashley, who was still in a daze followed Collier, walking behind the latter.

With Ashley still in a fantasy state, Collier was panicking internally. Did I just kiss her? It wasn't a dream??? I thought it was? It wasn't like this before. She then began pinching her cheek again. Pretend nothing happened. Pretend nothing happened. Collier kept chanting inside her heart.

Ashley, who was still in a daze as she walked, suddenly saw Collier bumping into a pole. Chuckle escaped from her mouth. She's so cute. Her mind wandered to the soft sensation of Collier's lips on hers. It made her blush yet again.

"Are you okay?" Ashley asked.

Collier smiled, pretending that it didn't hurt, "Of course not."

Seeing Collier's forehead sweating and her crooked smile, Ashley felt Collier was cuter than ever. On impulse she walked closer towards Collier and pressed her lips gently on Collier's forehead.

"There. Pain pain go away," Ashley said before walking towards the hotel, leaving Collier flushed and confused.

When Ashley and Collier arrived at the lobby, Joanne and the team members were there waiting for them. Joanne looked panicked.

"We seem to lack one room," Joanne said, "Is it alright if Miss Villers stays with you, Miss Kay?" Joanne asked, pinching her skirt.

Ashley blushed. Collier can just book another room, she's rich anyway.

To her surprise, Collier smiled and said, "Sure!"

Ashley looked at Collier, with her eyes wide, only to receive a playful wink from Collier.

When Collier answered, James was internally fanboying. His ship was sailing! He kept shaking his fellow member, Mark, who looked so dead already.

"The thing is-"

Before Joanne could further explain, Collier raised her hand and waved, "Promise it's alright. Let's get to our hotel room first shall we?"

After the problem was resolved, they all went to their own respective rooms.

Ashley's mouth fell open when she saw only one bed inside her assigned hotel room. Although it was big, there was still only one room. I have to sleep with her again. Ashley's brain was in chaos.

"You okay?" Collier asked when she saw Ashley stopped midway inside their room.

When Collier saw that there was only one bed, Collier grinned, "Miss sleeping with me?"

Ashley blushed, "Can you word it properly? It's as if I- we had sex," Ashley's face was began to steam.

Collier chuckled. She placed her backpack and stroller on the side before jumping towards the bed. She laid perfectly in the middle and closed her eyes, "Feels so good!"

Collier patted the bed on her left, "Come, lay with me."

Ashley smiled. She's such a kid. She walked towards the bed and laid beside Collier. To her surprise, Collier rolled to her left side. She felt Collier's arm on her waist.

Ashley was surprised, causing her to look at Collier. Their eyes met.

"Can I kiss you?" Collier whispered.

Ashley's ears began to redden, but she nodded.

Collier moved closer towards her and placed her lips on Ashley's soft eyebrows. Soft. Collier didn't move her lips away from Ashley's eyebrows not until a few minutes later.

Ashley was blushing deep red. What's her problem?

"I love you," those words suddenly escaped Collier's lips.

Ashley didn't believe what she had heard, "What?"

Collier rolled over, her back now facing Ashley's face, "Nevermind." Her heart ached. What was I thinking? She felt droplets of tears forming in her eyes.

Ashley puffed her cheeks. She didn't like how Collier immediately denied her own confession.

"Look at me!" Ashley demanded.

Collier didn't move an inch.

Ashley clenched Collier's shirt, "Please."

"I love you too."

Collier opened her eyes. It seemed that she had fallen asleep on the bed.

Ashley was fixing her language, "Rise and shine. Everyone will get together in a few minutes."

"What happened?" Collier asked.

"Looks like you're still half asleep. You run towards the bed and fall asleep right after." Ashley explained as she smiled.

Collier didn't trace any lie on Ashley's face.

"I love you!" Collier confessed. If I could do it in my dreams I could do it in real life.

"What??!!" Ashley's face turned beet red.

Collier had fallen asleep right after she confessed to her.

Ashley decided to pretend nothing happened since Collier seemed to have forgotten what happened. Who knew that Collier would confess to her again?

"Be my real girlfriend please? If-if you don't agree then at least let me pursue you," Collier said, opening her eyes again and her heart panicking.
