chapter 28 - Make-up (The End)

Collier went out quickly and grabbed Ashley toward her, avoiding the car. She was able to save Ashley from possibly being in a car accident.

Seeing how Ashley didn't care if she died, Collier couldn't help but cry.

Ashleyl sat on the street motionless, as if she wasn't about to die. She didn't even have the energy to open her eyes.

Collier carried Ashley to her car, regretting what she had done. This time, it made her realize that no matter how much she owed Brooklyn, Ashley meant more to her.

I'm sorry, little sister. Despite those dreams telling me how much Ashley had hurt you, I still fell in love with her, and stole her away from you.

"I'm so sorry, Ashley. I promise that I'll make it up to you," Collier grabbed her phone and sent a text message to Brooklyn before driving towards her apartment.

Ashley felt afraid. She was currently dreaming. Someone who was obsessed with her tricked her into marrying the other person for many lifetimes, and she had to be separated from the person she loved.

"Why did you lie?! I thought I was marrying your sister, not you!" Ashley could hear herself screaming.

"Why does it have to be her?! Why can't it be me?" the other person shouted.

Ashley trembled. She could see herself jumping down the cliff over and over again. After Ashley saw herself dead, the other person ran down the cliff and hugged her. Those beautiful eyes she used to love." It was Br-

"Brooklyn!" Ashley shouted as she sat up.

She noticed Collier's eyes were moist and her brow furrowed..

"Do you like her again?" Collier asked, biting her lip.

Ashley shook her head. "I dreamed that Brooklyn forced me to marry her, even though it was her sister I loved."

Collier's eyes widened.

Ashley looked into Collier's eyes, "Was those my past lives I saw? But, I was different from what you told me."

"Ashley, maybe what I saw was a different perspective and maybe you were right. The lil sister I know would never want to hurt another person, but she had hurt you twice. You almost died a while ago, and it made me realize that I can't do it without you," Collier spoke softly.

She held Ashley's hand and said, "I'll fight for you, so if you want to be with me again, I'll try my best to make you love me ag-"

Ashely threw her arms towards Collier and circled her arms around Collier's neck, saying, "I love you. You don't need to chase me; just treat me like a treasure, just as you did before."

"I love you too, Ashley. I'm glad that I finally had the courage to fight for you. I'm sorry for being a coward." Collier kissed Ashley's eyes, nose, and finally her lips.

Just as they were about to hug each other to sleep, Collier's phone beeped.

Collier got up and read Brooklyn's reply.

You can have her. I remember everything, and I don't deserve her.

Collier sighed and placed her phone on the table before cuddling with Ashley again.

"I love you," Collier whistpered on Ashley's ear. She felt so lucky that Ashley gave her another chance. It's as if she had saved an entire universe in her past life.

Collier hugged Ashley for a few minutes before letting go and driving Ashley to her apartment.

"Would you like to spend the night with me? I've missed you so much."

Ashley nodded and went to the bathroom to wash up.

That night they enjoyed each other's embrace and slept soundly. Their night had never been as peaceful as this one.

Ashley opened her eyes only to see a soft white neck in front of her. Ashley blushed. It made her want to do Collier. Ashley tried to retrain herself. She wasn't someone who was that impulsive, right?

Ashley drilled into Collier's arms and slept again. She wanted to be embraced by Collier for as long as possible.

Just as Ashley was about to fall asleep, Collier stole a kiss from her, which made Ashley's eyes open wide.

"Oh, did I wake you up?" Collier asked, her voice seductive and husky, turning Ashley's ears deep red once more.

"Please stop being so sexy or else I can't hold myself." Ashley sighed.

This made Collier chuckle. How could she make this cutie fall in love with her?

Collier pecked Ashley's nose and said, "Let's meet my parents. I have something to announce to them. Good news, in fact."

Ashley looked at Collier with curious eyes, "Really? What's it about?"

Collier winked and said, "It's a secret. Come on, let's get dressed. Gotta meet my parents."

Collier led Ashley towards her car after they had dressed up. Collier drove to her parents house with a wide smile on her face.

"What are you smiling about?" Ashley asked.

Collier smiled and said, "I love you."

This caused Ashley to blush so hard that her face turned red.

"Stop teasing me."

Collier only chuckled.

After half an hour, they arrived at the luxurious mansion of the Villers. Collier escorted Ashley towards the mansion.

Mr. and Mrs. Villers saw them together and quickly embraced them in a hug.

"Aren't you two so cute together?" Mrs. Villers chuckled.

"Thank you, Mrs. Villers." Ashley replied.

"Oh, shucks, call us mom and dad! Collier already told us that she wants to marry you in the long run. Better get used to calling us mom and dad then!" Mrs. Villers chuckled.

Ashley's eyes widened and she turned to look at Collier.

Collier smiled and said, "It's true. I want to spend my whole life with you."

Just as everything was cheerful, someone's voice caused Ashley to stiffen, Brooklyn walked over to them with a smile on her face and said, "Hello, there sister-in-law."

Ashley was shocked. Did she hear that right?

Collier wrapped her arms around Ashley's wasit, "I've already talked with Brooklyn. There won't be problems ahead of us from now on."

Ashley couldn't help but turn to Collier and wrap her arms around Collier's neck, " I love you."

"I love you too."

"Speaking of love, I can't wait for your wedding!" Mrs. Villers screamed.

The whole family entered the living room with cheerful smiles!

It's finally the end! I did plan to add more drama to this, but I figured that both Ashley and Collier deserve to be happy already. Worry not, I do have plans for extra chapters so please wait for them!
