Kate Bishop, the lady Hawkeye or Hawkette, whatever you want to call her, was on a mission with her team consisting of Wiccan, Hulkling, America Chavez and stature. They were to investigate the heavy movements of the mob, it was not in their job description but after the death of Spider-man and making the activities of Spider-clan illegal in NYC, now the young Avengers has to handle these crimes.
She was separated from her team as they were investigating other parts of NYC and she had found herself in a gang war between two groups, the Russians and the American gangs. Russians were defending their turf and Americans were trying to expand themselves led by Hammerhead himself.
She had disposed of most of the gangs but she was out of arrows and was hiding behind a car, she was clutching the bullet wound that was on her shoulder. The backup will take some time, she straightened her now into a mini staff and got ready to fight for her life, as the hail of bullets started to pierce the car. She closed her eyes for the last stand but suddenly the fire stopped and she heard a distinctive sound.
* THWIP *
and then all hell broke loose as she heard hard hits and grunts and suddenly a figure lands on the car with a thump. She looked up and saw it was a male figure whose back was seen, the most distinctive feature was a huge white spider logo on his back.
" Oi, Hammy it's not manly of you to bully a young girl! But I can see she kicked your men's ass hard!" taunted the new Spiderman, also known as Gerald 'Gerry' Parker to his close ones.

Late glared at his back for calling her young girl, hell she's older than him.
" KILL HIM! " shouted an annoyed Hammerhead as his men and his opponents started to open fire at spiderman but the boy jumped and weaved through the hail of bullets quickly and webbed up their guns. He started to use his martial arts ' Way of the Spider' taught to him by his father and later Julia after his father's demise.
