You and Loki crashed through the ceiling, belly-flopping onto the hard floor. You groaned as you stood up.

"Why, hello there," you looked up to see some weird old looking dude in robes. "Now who are you? Contestants?"

Loki stood up, "Look we need to get home to Asgard. Where are we?"

"Ass-gard?" He chuckled to himself. "You're on Sakaar. And I'm the Grandmaster!" You could already tell he had a huge ego.

"How do we leave this place?" You asked.

"Oh you don't," the Grandmaster chuckled.

You extended a hand to your side and let an energy ball form, "Tell us how to leave."

The Grandmaster only looked excited at your hand, "Wowwww green sparkles! Are you a goddess?"

"I- well-" you stuttered.

Loki interrupted, saving your asses, "Yes. She is the goddess of Sorcery and I am the god of Mischief and Lies." Eh, it was half true.

The Grandmaster clapped his hands, "Oh goodie! Guards! Bring these nice gods to the deluxe suite."

Two guards came forward and you and Loki followed them out of the room, down the hallway, until they stopped at huge double doors, "This is your room. Make yourself at home," the guard said before they both left.

You gave Loki a shrug, and opened up the door before you both went inside and closed it. It was magnificent. There was a huge queen sized bed in the middle, with a mansion-worthy bathroom and walk-in closet.

Loki grabbed your hand and stopped you from exploring more, "Y/n can we please talk?"

You avoided his gaze, "We have nothing to talk about."

Loki sighed, " You know just as well as I do that we for sure have stuff to talk about. Please."

You sighed, "Loki you lied to me. To all of us. You let us believe you were dead! I- I thought it was all a fantasy."

"So what if it was actually real? Does that change the fact that it happened?"

You squeezed your eyes shut and took your hand out of Loki's grasp, "I found my soulmate. I'm happy now."

"Did you tell him about your second mark?"

You hesitated before answering, "Well...no.."

"Do you even know who it is?!" Loki sounded very frustrated now.

You turned back to look at him, "No. Why does that even matter?"

"Because it's me!"

You took a step back in shock, "B-but...what...how?"

Loki lifted up the top of his shirt so you could see his stomach. He was right. He had the same mark as your right hand.

You were saved from replying when a guard knocked and walked in, informing you, "The Grandmaster would like for you to come and watch the tournament."

"We'll be there in a minute."

The guard didn't budge, "He wants you there now."

Loki sighed, and followed him, giving you a hurt glance as he walked passed you and you followed behind him out.

You frowned as you walked. You had all but forgotten the mark, that much was true. You felt bad when you remembered how Loki looked. He must have known this entire time.

You let out a frustrated sigh. When did this all become so complicated? You did- no. You do love him, but you're confused and hurt about everything. You don't know what to think.

Your thoughts were interrupted as you and Loki entered what seemed to be a VIP section, with a huge couch and the Grandmaster sitting at the end of it. You and Loki walked over to him and sat down on the other side of the couch.

The Grandmaster gave you a huge smile, "How nice of you to join me! Don't worry you'll love this!"

As if we had a choice on whether or not to come, you thought, and had to refrain from eye rolling.

"I'm sure we will love it," Loki said, civilly.

You looked to the window and into the stadium as someone in armor and a spiked-sword walked in.

The Grandmaster clapped like a child, "Oooo!"

As the other contender walked out, you stood up, "Bruce?!"

It was the Hulk! But he seemed even bigger than normal and was covered in necklaces and fabric.

Loki gave you a panicked look and shook his head, but you ignored him and asked the Grandmaster, "Why do you have Bruce?"

"Oh the green guy? He's my champion! Arrived probably two years ago according to your time and he has become my champion," The Grandmaster sighed. "He's great."

You sat back down and squeezed your hands into fists, trying to not punch him. Loki put his hand on yours and you looked at him, "We can't aggravate him. We need to get in his good graces."

You frowned, but nodded, accepting what he was saying and relaxed your hands, but pulled them away from Loki's.
