Part 20

You paced the room you and Loki were given, as Loki watched you from his seat on the bed, "We need to find Thor!"

"Thor will be fine."

"But we know he's alive now! We can get back to Asgard."

Loki stood up and walked over to you, "You can't really possibly be thinking about going back can you?"

You raised an eyebrow, "Why not?"

"You saw Hela destroy Thor's hammer! She will kill us!"

"We have to try," you insisted.

"I won't let you go to die," Loki pleaded.

"I have to try," you repeated, and left the room, feeling Loki's gaze follow you.

You wondered the hallways, looking for where Thor would be.

You heard, "Here's the deal, I'll listen to you, 'till this is empty," and started to follow the voice.

You ran around the corner to a red and white room, "That's what's wrong with Asgard. The thrown, the secrets, the whole golden sham.

You kept quiet, letting the lady and Thor finish their conversation, "I agree," Thor said, and tried to grab her arm to stop her from leaving, but she pulled a dagger on him. "Don't get familiar."

"That's why I turned down the throne. But this isn't about the crown. This is about the people. They're dying, and they're your people too."

The lady shoved him, "Forget it. I have."

"Ok great. Thank you."

"For what?"

Thor held up a device, "For this."

"Didn't see that did you?" She sighed, and Thor pressed a button, taking off the piece on his neck, "There...that's better."

"You know, go ahead. Stay here and enslave people for that lunatic. Keep drinking. Keep hiding. But me," Thor gestured for Hulk to pass him the ball, which he did, and caught it, "I choose to run toward my problems and not away from them."

Thor threw the ball at the window, "Because that's what-" the ball came back and hit Thor, making him fall to the ground. He stood back up with a jump. "Because that's what heroes do."

Thor jumped out the window into the crowd, "Wait wait wait! Thor! No! God damnit."

You gave the lady a wave and jumped out the window to follow him. You yelled his name but he didn't listen, and followed him all the way to a jet. Thor went inside and you followed him.

Thor jumped as you entered, "Y/n!"

You gave him a hug, "Gods, Thor, you're fast."

He chuckled, "Why are you here?"

"I came to find you so we can save Asgard."

"And Loki?"

You looked down with a sigh, "He doesn't want to go back."

Thor scoffed, "Figures. I need to turn back on the ship and get us home." He started randomly pressing buttons, which didn't work, then put his hand to a screen.

"Welcome. Voice activation required."

"Thor," he smiled.

The device beeped, "Access denied," and he frowned.

"Uh...Thor, son of Odin."

The device beeped again, "Access denied."

"God of Thunder."
