HIS POV
"It's beautiful, right?" I sat beside Isabella. Naka-tingin ako sa kaniya kahit pa dagat ang tinutukoy ko.
Pinuntahan ko siya dito sa sea side through the hidden door at the garden. I showed this place to my brothers because it's my favorite place, and unfortunately, it started to become their favorite place too. Nagkaroon pa tuloy ako ng kaagaw.
"Bakit ka nandito..."
"Am I not allowed to be here?" I asked. Baka nakakalimutan niyang taga-rito ako at ako ang nag-utos kay Aurian na dalhin siya dito palagi. "I was finding you for our lecture today, pero wala ka. You seem bothered. Do you have any problem?"
She bit her lower lip. "Wala naman."
"Talaga lang?" I doubted her. I always notice her doing her mannerism na kagatin ang labi kapag nag-sisinungaling at nahihiya kaya kilala ko na siya kahit papaano.
"Did you know that the people of Arelle considers running from the truth as dishonesty?" I lectured her.
"Wala naman talaga..." she defended.
"Answer me. It's a royal order."
"Nahuhulog na nga kasi ako!" inis na sagot niya sa'kin.
I knew it.
Sabi ko na nga ba, nahulog siya sa isa sa kapatid ko. The question is, si Ares ba, o si Aurian?
"Nahulog saan?" I tried to act innocent.
"Nahulog sa patibong..." She avoided her gaze. "Ang tanga-tanga ko."
"Hmm... crush mo si Ares?" I asked, trying to resolve my curiosity.
"Huh?! Hindi!" Napalunok siya.
"Defensive mo naman," I laughed bitterly.
"This is why I hate arranged marriage," I started. I could see her staring at me from my peripheral view. "You're in love with another, and I'm also in love with someone else," pag-sisinungaling ko.
Siya lang naman 'tong may gusto na iba. I rolled my eyes while avoiding my gaze.
Napatingin ako sa gawi ni Isabella nang bigla siyang tumayo at umalis. Sinundan ko siya hanggang sa maka-abot kami sa garden.
"Your Highness, someone's looking for you!" One of the royal maids called for Isabella.
"Who?" tanong aniya. Naunahan pa akong mag-tanong ni Isabella.
